Via Rockstar Resource: "We're just two weeks away from being able to enjoy GTA V in all its glory. But lurking just a month away is the release of an experience which promises to do for online gaming what Grand Theft Auto 3 did for the single player experience. I am talking of course, of GTA Online."
The GTA 5 Agent Trevor DLC episode could have been a real treat for fans on PlayStation and Xbox, before it was scrubbed sometime before 2017.
With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.
I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.
Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder
One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
Grand Theft Auto V was released on PC on the 14th of April 2015. That means the game will be nine years old in four days, and it’s still among the most-played titles on Steam. With a 24-hour peak of 145K players, it’s as popular as Baldur’s Gate 3, Apex: Legends, and Destiny 2.
The street-level action is heating up, so dive headfirst into the chaos of Freemode Challenges and Events — all of which are paying out Double Rewards.
So is GTA Online seperate from GTA5? Not paid much attention to GTA5 recently for the sake of spoilers.
GTA Online is being treated as a separate entity, it just happens to coincide with GTA V in terms of location etc.
GTA online happens before GTA V and they are the same game...
They are linked in nothing more than location and characters. GTA Online is the start of a new franchise and will be continuously updated to reflect this.
They will add locations gradually too, Liberty City, Vice City etc.
They already have the maps to implement this, R* were even quoted as "wanting to create the world" for GTA Online....the potential is truly jaw dropping.
