Being avid Sonic fans who have gone through a lot of heartache and sorrow over the years, we refuse to believe that the Genesis titles were all the blue speed demon had to offer and we look forward to the future of Sonic, most notably Lost Worlds.

Sonic 06 was a great game, highly underrated. I would put every 3D Sonic game ahead of every 2D Sonic game apart from Sonic CD which is still to this day a fantastic game. I grew up with the old Sonic games but there is no doubt in my mind that the 3D games are better.
