GR-UK writes: "A few years ago I asked David Rutter, long-time producer of the FIFA series, how difficult it was to create a new game in the series every year, differentiating it from the previous ones. He replied that, indeed, it's a daunting task.
Still, the players around the world know very well how EA is able to resell the franchise every single year, by changing just enough to justify a full retail price. In short, every autumn FIFA is changed a little when compared to last year's version, and only in rare cases we've been witness to radical changes to the formula. The last big change came with FIFA 12, which introduced a new physics engine. FIFA 13 made a few small changes. And, apparently, FIFA 14 will also not be characterised by extreme transformations."
Games Asylum: "Outdated football games are a common sight when scouring jumble sales, car boots and charity shops for bargain price video games. Entire shelves filled with decade-old FIFA and PES games spread across a dozen formats. Often they end up in bargain bins, sitting alongside unwanted celebrity fitness DVDs and seemingly random TV show box sets. But here’s the thing. Not all football games gathering dust in the likes of Oxfam are in fact worthless."

Here are the top 20 selling games on Japanese PSN in 2014.
LOL, their producer shows the people the gameplay and says wow every single time he shows something new? Haha, what is this subliminal massage so that the people go back to their sites and say wow to influence people to buy it again?
Pure shot? Gimmick
Shield the ball( didn't we have that past year?)
Robust scouting system(wow?)

Konami, show them how a real football simulation is done with your fox engine powered PES 2014
yep will wait till a new PS4 fifa or PES not a ported version either, looks like I will have to wait for the World Cup Fifa game nxt year on PS4 then.
Two things Fifa 14 needs.
1. Weather that changes throughout the game. (It would be lovely to start playing a game that’s slightly grey and overcast, then by the end the it’s raining cats and dogs)
2. Put an indication next to the players name of what their foot preference is (currently the name boxes at the bottom left and right of the screen also display the players number, why do I need to know that! Replace it with a L, an R, or a LR)
weather changes would be welcomed plus things like time wasting with a fake injury after a tackle(with complicated execution of course), cup final days or league title win could have a streaker on pitch for comedy value or pitch invasion when you get promoted.
I think also, annoying but how about the occasional linesman mistake with offsides. crowds need to be better looking, with flares being thrown onto pitch at a champions league game, theirs loads of stuff yet to be added to footie games, hope nxt gen brings some of these, the actual football mechanics in footie games now cant really get much better, just needs improvements in other areas imo.
