Who Will Win the Next-Gen? Here's the Answer

So here we go,

Sony and Microsoft have been against each other in the console wars since 2005 when the first Xbox came and competed against the PS2. Then, a couple of years later, the PS3 came out and was right against the Xbox 360. Now here in the year 2013, this past February on the 20th, the PS3 successor has been announced and is known as the PS4. With so little time left until E3 2013, Microsoft have still not said anything about the upcoming Xbox 720, all we know is a bunch of rumours about an 'always online' feature, it is slower than the PS4, and is like a cable box and moves away from harcore-gamers. In this blog, I will tell you my opinion about who will win this next-gen when both consoles come out.

I will first talk about Sony's console and why it would win, and then I will talk about Microsoft's console and say why it will win. At the end, I will conclude my thoughts and give an overall answer on saying who will win the console generation of 2013.

Okay, so Sony's console was revealed on Feb 20th 2013 and I watched the live stream of it that day. I can honestly say that it looked like Sony had everything right. he new DualShock 4 controller is definetly a plus for me because it has new triggers, redesigned, has a SHARE button, and has a high res touchpad and of course that light bar and the new head-jack and speakers. The touchpad is quite interesting but the SHARE button is something I cannot wait to use. I had always wanted to start a YouTube gaming career but I didn't have the proper recording tools so I was not able to. This live stream though is an amazing way to get publicity and create your YouTube dream. The PS Eye also looks like it is a new idea but I am not really focused on cameras because I play games.

The social aspects are also nice. The SHARE button, and they new UI interface looks amazing and I cannot wait to get my hands on it during E3. Some of the small features that make your gaming life easier like the power button that goes right back to where you left off or the download and play idea. All of these neat ideas make you life easier and I will definetly be happy about these new things.

Now lets talk about the power of this beast. The specs ( http://www.nowgamer.com/new... ) are amazing. The PS4 should be able to handle quite a lot of games and is definetly a step up. During the reveal, some of the engines such as the Phanta Rei or the Unreal Engine 4 were noticeably different. Though I would have to see the games myself during E3, the PS4's power looks quite interesting.

The games. This is the reason why everyone buys a console, because of the games. During the reveal, we got some nice games and exclusives such as Knack, Killzone: SF, Infamous: SS, and Driveclub, etc.. These games looked amazing and I was very keen on them. We already have some extra games such as Destiny, Assassins Creed: BF, and many other games that were revealed in the past few weeks and months. I think that the PS4 has a lot of support and launch games and I am keen to seeing what they bring to E3.

Now time for MS next console, we do not know a lot about it so I can't really write a lot about this. Anyway, the specs for MS next console ( http://www.nowgamer.com/new... ) are a little short hand of the PS4's so you can say that the PS4 is more powerful than the Xbox 720, also the GPU is more powerful as said my Nvidia and AMD.

As since we do not know any games for the 720 since it isn't revealed yet, we can tell that most of the games that are multi-platform for the PS4 are for the 720. Ryse is expected to be on the upcoming 720 as well and so is a new Forza.

Now for those rumours. Most of the rumours about the next Xbox 720 could/would/should hurt Microsoft such as the 'always online' commotion. The only idea so far that I think could help Microsoft is the TV connection and the HDMI In rumour. I think that this idea is smart because it would enable you to play on your 720 while playing BF4 lets say. I think that idea is quite smart and would be a plus for me.

Now in overall based on the sales of the PS3 and Xbox 360 and the rumours of the 720 and the news of the PS$, I think that the PS4 could win. I think that Sony has learned from the last gen and so far are making the right moves. They revealed the console first which is smart and I think that the fact they didn't show the console is smart because if people do not like the way the 720 looks, Sony can alter the PS4 so people would like it. The PS4 is also more powerful and the features and new controller and games are a plus.

I will make another blog when the 720 is revealed and then I will have a full update and I can crown a fair winner.

Nice cookie-cutter style of academic writing. Your abstract clearly outlined what you wanted to convey to your readers in very short and precise sentences. However, your paragraphs in the following are too short and their introductions are a bit lowbrow, i.e. "Now time for...", "Now for...", and simply "Now...". Change things up a bit and you'll find that your readers will be more interested in the subsequent sections that you've made, especially in your conclusion where you've overused "I think...".

Okay then thanks for the help! As my first blog I didn't know if it would be good but I will improve on my next one.

"the PS4 is more powerful than the Xbox 720"

No, 100%. Only a old leaked -rumor- documents say this.
Wait and see.

agreed, that is why I said "I will make another blog when the 720 is revealed and then I will have a full update and I can crown a fair winner". When the Xbox is revealed and we have the specs, than I can compare it fairly

I just cant find the time to write a blog.

pc, like always

the most exclusives
the best graphics by far
mods
backwards compat
emulators
way better prices
way better performance
bigger/better/dedicated servers
better online chat options (steam/vent/teamspeak/in-game
community projects

also, anyone else think it will be freaking hilarious if the xbox 720's specs completely curb stomp the ps4's?

it wouldn't be hard

just have better than a 1.6ghz cpu-EASY
better than a crappy laptop gpu-EASY
and 10 gb of ram because all the console kids thinks ram is the most important part of a system (hint; its LAST behind cpu and gpu)

Playstation Country - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants – PS5 Review

Michael Kitchin writes, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants does not breathe easy outside of an arcade setting. The short campaign loses any risk when you're given plentiful lives at the start of each stage. Whilst the new areas are welcome, they don't make the package feel any more complete. In the comforts of home, every imperfection comes into stark realisation. The slim presentation, the decent but ultimately safe combat and the overall small package makes this tough to recommend."
