Orbis was a code name and probably not representative of the finished product. something a bit more catchy would have been nice.

Personally, after 3, whatever comes next should have a new name. Like Playstation 4, Uncharted 4, Killzone 4 etc.. doesn't sound right. The name should have Playstation in it though

It will obviously be called the Playstation 4. This way in Japan Sony can market a Life & Death campaign with PS4 & Vita (Vita being Latin for Life).
