With the huge announcements made for Zelda U and Wind Waker HD, a lot of fans have rejoiced. But to every upside, there is a down. That would be that the odds of Majora's Mask being remade have lowered substantially.

Pure unadulterated fun. They don't make them like this anymore...especially not the triple A industry.
Back when video rental was a thing, I rented out Majoria's Mask, I never finished it though. I did buy the 3DS version before the eshop shutdown, so maybe one day I'll finally play through the whole thing, it's amazing how well these games hold up though. I briefly played Ocarina of Time for a while and it was really fun.

You forgot one and it's a doozy. The weapon is kindness in undertale. :) defeats countless enemies.

The feeling this game gave me the first time i had my hands on it is indescribable.. i still get the chill from that day..
botw is like a spin off of the series.. it’s fun but with many flaws and the most important which is Zelda formula isn’t there..
I can't even remember how many times I played through OoT, I finished that game, and collected everything so many times.
I generally agree with the author here. However, if I had to point out a single game as the 'anti-Breath of the Wild,' that would be Majora's Mask. Pretty much everything in that game is interconnected, relies on something that the player must have done previously, is timed, and can be considered a puzzle in itself.
but still considered the best of the seties.
i would have liked botw to be more like ocarina.
25 years from today whatever Zelda is out people would too be looking fondly at Breath of the Wild.

Ocarina of time did well on 3ds so majoras mask on 3ds makes sense.
Don't count it out just yet. Depends on how long the next zelda game takes to develop. I mean we have only been told that there is one and have been show nothing (tech demo doesn't count as it was a tech demo for the system). We could be getting a HD remake of this as well. Just depeds on how long zelda takes to develop
I never really liked Majora's Mask, I prefer Wind Waker and Ocarina of Time but I hope we do get a remake it'll be good for the fans and for a new generation to get a chance to play it. :)
Please Nintendo no more rehashes.Put all of your effort toward making new IPs. We have a bunch of the same old stuff as it is.
