Dishonored is, since when is Naval battle stealthy? i joke

In all serious though, AC3 doesnt really encourage you to be stealthy, I must of killed atleast 200 people in AC3 so far, and i havnt even finished the game yet, I try to be stealthy, but it ends up being pointless

I beat Dishonored without killing anybody

WolfLeBlack4189d ago

The thing is, though, Assassin's Creed has never truly been a stealth game. The real-life assassin's that the first game was based on had a reputation for killing people in busy, public places, because it gave them them a far deadlier reputation. It made people scared.

AC3 is soo buggy, Dishonored all the way!

Well the Hashashin, the real life Assassin's from the first game, were known for high profile kills in front of huge crowds. Their whole deal was controlling people through fear. If they can strike in front of massive crowds when everyone is watching, then they can strike anywhere and you are never safe. They had a lot of influence over people because of that.

Games with the dumbest NPCs

Non-playable characters in certain games are meme material, thanks to their foolish behavior. These are the big-budget games with the dumbest NPCs.

Bethesda makes the most consistently stupid NPCs, like really bad... yet I still can't help but love playing their games. Guilty pleasure, I guess. *sigh* 😩

How did redfall not make the cut.

My first thought was the safe rooms in the resident evil series. When you hear that enchanting music you know you’re safe.

Killer2020UK284d ago

I literally just came here to post this. That music in the Resi 1 safe rooms is playing in my head.

I was thinking TLOU work benches. Although I remember one time where it was a false security.

Perfect. 👌👌

I'd add the top of my highrise apartment in GTA Online. That calm, quiet peace, just knowing as soon as I step out that door I will be bombarded by 8 and 12 year olds calling each other n**** and f****, trolled by combat jets and rocket launchers.

The entire map of SotC is peaceful as hell. Used to just ride around exploring it.

mastershredder284d ago (Edited 284d ago )

Afterlife in Cyberpunk 2077 is a peaceful area? Erm, hands down and very hard to miss, Misty Olszewski's Esoterica is the absolute epitome of peaceful areas in that game.

The "last of us" deer location i found to be a welcoming respite. It was nice to not have someone trying to eat me.

Kingdom Hearts tend to present half peaceful areas and most of them are amazing.

The Magic of 'Dishonored’s' Blink

It’s a shame, really, that so few games have “borrowed” Dishonored’s Blink – in the right hands, such a power could be game-changing.

It felt kinda cheap to me… both in terms as a tactic, and game design

Abnor_Mal446d ago (Edited 446d ago )

There was a small game called Aragami that “borrowed” the blink, that was a good game.

Unfortunately I heard the sequel wasn’t good so I stayed away from trying it out.

sairenfox2099444d ago

The sequel changed some of the mechanics from the first game but it was still a very polished and enjoyable experience. You should definitely give it a shot sometime. The game's currently on sale on Steam

Abnor_Mal444d ago

Okay thanks for the heads up, will look out for it being on sale one day.

I really did like the first and played it back to back as soon as I finished the first play through.
