I've never played any Persona game but it seems to be an amazing JRPG series.

Despite being full of humor, they have a much darker tone than the average JRPG. And while dealing with the supernatural- of sorts- they also feel very grounded. My favorite parts are the characters that always feel like real live, fully fleshed out individuals, and the soundtracks done by Shoji Meguro.

P4 The Golden and PS All Stars will probably be the only two I get. Hitman and LBPK are potential later purchases.

Edit: Black Ops II is a wait and see.

How IO turned Hitman around, from Absolution to World of Assassination

When Hitman 3 recently changed its name to Hitman World of Assassination, fans had no idea how meaningful the moment was. On the outside it looked like a simple thing: Hitman 3 would now be known by this name and include levels from Hitman 2 and 3 - the trilogy would all be in one place. But on the inside, at IO Interactive, much more was going on.

You mean destroyed it with this tethered single-player campaign BS... And only the first few levels of the third modern game were on the disc! I'll never support this crap at any price-point! They've lost me as a customer.

It wouldn't have mattered, Sony would've rushed it out and left it to die. More so now than before with their focus now being on SP narrative driven AAA games.

Oh, but somehow Smash Bros. 64 made it work?

It just couldn’t compete with Smash Bros. and it wasn’t a free-to-play game like Multiversus.

PapaBop533d ago

I think it released at the right time. It's just after the success of Smash and Multiversus, it's finally time for a sequel.

I'd be all in on a remake or remaster of the original. I enjoyed it because I didn't sit there and compare every aspect to SSB. I just enjoyed it as it was.

Magatsuhi533d ago

Sony should make part 2 and dump a good amount of money on it. Scrap super only kills and it's bound to succeed.

Father__Merrin533d ago

Yes the power kills spoilt it completely WTH was they thinking you should have hp bar that's it
