E3 2012: Wii Fit U Gameplay

Nintendo fans will bash me for this but.... isn't this some nes64 graphics? By the looks of it... come on, they could have done a slightly better looking game with that move technology... This console can deliver much better and still.. I really don't understand Nintendo.. (take for example virtua tennis with move interface, now that's a good looking game!)

It's a tad difficult to tell since its TV footage. Hardly SNES/64 era, but nothing particularly advanced. As a Nintendo fan, I've never cared for Wii Fit and I certainly don't care for this year. I'm skipping.

First person that gave me some credit on this thought, thanks ^^, I mean, why couldn't they do a great looking game along with the move technology? I mostly see, even in wii of course, the same toy characters and simplistic single color textures on these games.. Cheers ;). I think I remember nintendo also doing some tiger woods game with move in the same aesthetic of xbox and ps3. This was a good combination that I can remember! (although I don't fancy golf games)

I do find it odd that a large majority of motion control games (Kinect, Move, Wii) do have less impressive graphics. I don't understand why Star Wars Kinect or Kinectamils couldn't look of the same quality of every other game on the system.

Even when you factor in that bit of extra stress the motion controllers put on the system it's difficult to quantify.

My guess, mainly budget, when your making a game for a peripheral your cutting your audience numbers, there for likely to cut your development budget.

Nintendo Land has better graphics if that's any consolation. Not GREAT graphics, but they're much better than that footage. For these more primitive looking games, I hope Nintendo at least cranks up the anti-aliasing.

So... This is the same game as on Wii pretty much, same with New Super Mario Bros U. It could be the Wii game disc put in a WiiU...

Sad. And how is this trying to drag in the hardcore gamer again Nintendo? Selling more of that Wiish!t hardware I guess.
