I loved Brütal Legend, Legend, the characters and voice acting where brilliant and the soundtrack was one of the best in gaming history.

The land which they created using different influences and iconography from the world of metal was a joy to explore. The gameplay its self had a few flaws but most importantly it was very fun to play.

I need more games like this

Khan_k4374d ago

Good list, especially Brutal Legend deserves a sequel.
I just want to add Advent Rising, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and Beyond Good and Evil.

ElleGee4374d ago

Strangely enough, those very games were on the list. If the video had been a top ten instead of a top five, they would have been there, for certain.

Those, and Grim Fandango of course.

MrDead4374d ago

I hope Telltale picks up Grim Fandango as they did a really good job with Monkey Island and Sam & Max.

EA Sends Classic Titles To Steam

This is a nice collection of classic. EA has opened its vaults and released a series of classic PC games to Steam for the first time ever.

Garethvk49d ago

I wish we had a new Command and Conquer.

Vits49d ago

f you haven't already, consider getting 8-Bit Armies or the new 9-Bit Armies. They're made by some of the same folks from the older C&C, with very similar mechanics; it's just the aesthetics that are completely different.

TheColbertinator49d ago

C&C Red Alert 3 and The Saboteur were two different yet completely unforgettable games to me from a better era of EA.

I loved the Populas games back in the Amiga days. Will have to download these

SheenuTheLegend62d ago

all the games in the above list are bang on. this is the only reason we need backwards compatibility and physical presense of games for the upcoming future, no matter what.

Yi-Long63d ago

Honorable mention to the excellent Driveclub, one of the best racing games of all-time and one of my favourite games ever.

melons63d ago

yes! incredible rain effects; so good to drive along in rain with your Spotify playlist blaring

Skuletor63d ago

I really wanted a MotorStorm using the same engine, Driveclub is easily one of the best looking games on PS4 and I'm surprised they didn't even give it a PS4 Pro patch.

ravens5262d ago

Yes indeed. May just install it on my PS5. You know, physical copy and all.

monkey60262d ago

I adored Driveclub and the Bike expansion. I also loved Motorstorm. Evolution shutting down was a crime

Outrun Online Arcade, Sega Rally Online Arcade, After Burner Climax... all good stuff. I keep my 360 hooked up to play these as well as the TMNT games that were also delisted.

Skuletor63d ago

I have quite a few of these. Timed licenses suck.

Terry_B62d ago (Edited 62d ago )

wow...I have all of them except the Nintendo ones either in physical or digital version.

Also..Deadpool the Game is missing on that list.
