Behold, Alan Wake PC in all its 3D Surround glory

DSOGaming writes: "Alan Wake PC is almost a month away and Remedy has released some 3D Surround screenshots from it. As stated some days ago, Alan Wake will be supporting Nvidia’s 3D Vision and – obviously – will also support its 3D Surround capabilities. And we seriously can’t wait to get our hands on it. According to Remedy, stereoscopic 3D will be performance heavy, therefore a high end GPU such as the GeForce 580GTX and moderate graphics settings are recommended."

meh, that's still only Alan Wake, an overglorified repetitive tps in wich you had to buy dlcs to follow its above average story, one thing i will give to Alan Wake ....the music was nice.

other than that,.... point with flashlight, then shoot the exact same boring clone until its over.

yep im still butthurt with all the hype the game had, at least i had 25$ for trading it.

Its people like you that are killing originality sure alan wake was different nd sure it was a tad repetitive but for a new ip it was a solid entry give the franchise some time not every franchise can set the world on fire with the first attempt but u kno wat alan wake was pretty damm good nd a much needed change from the fps flooded genre at least alan wake tried to innovate when every other game trys to be cod.

the ironic part is if there's someone who support originality and different querky games ....THATS ME.

you can always blame the solar storms and the 9/11 on me, ...but it wont change the fact that 360 fanatics ares simply mad at my comment.

btw, im not impressed by the setup since i already own a tri-screen setup(not 3d) with two msi 580 lightning in sli since the spring....but i guess you will also blame me for the death of the Dreamcast too.

Nice set-up!

3 screen 3D Gaming is TEH BEST!

would be better if affordable Ultra Thin Bezel monitors were available instead of manufacturers trying to sell you those EXPENSIVE 3 in 1 monitor set-ups.

although 1 x 3 Pivot/Portrait is the way to go!!

Damnit!! I put off playing the game because I knew they did not put all that money into the PC version then just not release it. Saw it on sale for $5 so I picked it up and played it. Then THIS is announced. :/

Kind of a goody story...

On a serious note, that is why I try activating gift cards asap. It's happened to me where the store didnt scan it right where the card was unusuable. Happened at Wally World.

wait, that place is real? national lampoon wasn't kidding?

I just bought two of the MonsterVerse Godzilla movies on 4K - both had digital copies expiring in 2023. Both were actually expired.

I'd be surprised but it's WB, of course they'd actually expire them

Knightofelemia10d ago

Usually most of those redemption card have an expiry date on them. If they expired all buyer did was buy recycled paper. And some of those codes are country locked to certain countries. I buy a card from the States I can't use it in Canada.

Dumb and silly story. She wasted her money for no reason.

Is it really that hard to go to Steam or GOG. She spent $240, when its currently 70% off on GOG, and only costs $4.49.

Gee, I wonder, should I spend $240 on eBay, or $4.49 on GOG? 🙄

Rynxie10d ago

Most likely she wanted to resell a few or most of them. However, it was a too good to be true situation.

So in short she paid $240.00 assuming usd for a bunch on unactivated game codes.

I still don't understand why I guess cause there's not a physical version and she wanted something for a collection or art project.

Rynxie10d ago

No, most likely to resell. However, she ended up getting screwed.

This is Alan Wake 1, it had physical copies.

A thermos is upending the Alan Wake community

Remedy has Alan Wake merch on sale, including a pretty blue thermos. Unfortunately, things haven’t gone according to plan, and many players who want a thermos find themselves without one, though it does appear that Remedy is attempting to fix things. Nevertheless, it has resulted in a lot of upset, illustrating just how much the thermos means to Alan Wake fans.
