Thats true.my 1080s(oc to 2050) require a 700-750 psu anf max temp(doom 4k/ultra) was 68 .Avg was about 63.For a sigle one,a 550 bronze at 83% is more than enough.
The 480 is slower than a 970...and pricier too.
And you wont play any exclusice pc games.I dont really care for any of the games you listed.Lastly,i work with my pc and i make 110.000 euro a year,i can have 500 ps4s,and even if i had an intrest of owning a console,10 good games you listed dont justify the purchuse.It does roughly 4-5% of what a pc can do,and it does those things very very poorly compared to my pc.
I think sony made their case worse.Putting out a low end performance pc again in 2016,means no new sony console for at least 3 years.In that time,old gpus already faster than the ps4(970 150-160$ for example),will get even cheaper and the new gpus in the next 2 years wil see massive performance increase,and a smaller but significant one for cpus.They should have gone with at least a 1070 and an i5,to try to stay at least somewhat close for the years to come.Compared to my sli 1080s,5820k and ...
