I don't think you know just how many more japanese games are on playstation compared to xbox.
But maybe you're technically right. Sony doesn't put in much effort to start working with japanese devs because they're already working with them. MS has to put in tremendous amounts of efforts just to get a foot in the door.

After selling my X1 earlier in this gen once they came out with play anywhere, I thought I was done with the xbox brand. Having a mid tier PC, I figured I was good without xbox, and been right thus far. Of all the games they have not on PS4, the only one I'm locked out of, but want is sunset overdrive, but I played it when I had my xbox, so only a minor loss.

Another one of these articles? Man, the only people making a big deal about it are xbox fanboys desperate for a win over Sony. The vast majority don't care. we're tired of seeing these articles and it's not affecting anything. you guys just want clicks and MS fanboys want to revel in a "win", that's all.

( i think it's called reward passes or something similar) and you get sony rewards points when you hit certain amounts. every 1,000 point can be turned in for $10 in store credit, you can use it for other stuff too. It's literally Sony giving you some store funds for trophy hunting. no strings attached, you have to sign up for sony rewards, but no need to sign up for the credit card.

@few yes, crossplay can lead to lower profits. This is the part where it gets anti consumer and I don't buy the BS excuses of "Sony's network isn't good enough" MS used last gen or "Save the kids" Sony is using this gen. It's about money.
Say you and I are friends and gamed together on 360 last gen, but this gen I switched to PS4. You want to still game with me, but love the xbox platform. Without crossplay, you might buy a PS4 to continue play...

Seems like your principles change based on which plastic box is being viewed in a positive light.
It doesn't hold true for most gamers. among hardcore gamers that number will be higher. Most casuals don't even know what crossplay is much less care about it. Also, seeing something as a positive is different that it being an issue to them. Even among PS4 fans who don't care that much you get a "would it be nice? sure, but..."

I think his actual point is that crossplay won't impact him because there's plenty of gamers to play with on PS4, if you need 4 gamers and you're pulling from a pool of 300, adding 100 more won't make a difference.
