the on rails one?
if you have PSVR I highly suggest megaton rainfall. It's basically a Superman vr game in all but name.
I got no problem with exclusivity when done right. But deals like street fighter 5, what we though tomb raider might have been. I do take issue with. When you have an established multiplatform franchise, that has fans on multiple systems and you pay money to keep some of those fans from buying it... that seems wrong.
There are exceptions of course, bayonetta comes to mind right away. there's a franchise that would have died without nintendo. so I'm cool with that. ...
At least he's honest. better than most of the PR bull we usually get.
Nah, we can meet half way.
I'm more looking forward for that one character that went searching for what odin took (avoiding spoilers here) the one mimir talked about in post game.
I dunno, games witcher are multiplatform and it turned out ok.
I'm ok with that. their story was awesome as is. If they have a new story to tell in the same universe, I'm all for it.
Yeah getting away from activision was the best move. It just seemed to reek of somebody going "who makes the game with the highest sales? Get them to make the spiderman game."
I will say though, even being a PS4 gamer primarily, I don't like the exclusivity. xbox and nintendo only gamers should be able to play it as well.
Some people just don't like this style of game. And some sites just put anybody to review any game. if you ask me Should be someone who's into the type of game reviewing it and a clear "buyer beware this game is different than the usual fare" note.
If you liked this, You should check out heavy rain, but avoid spoilers at all cost.
Yeah I'll pass. I understand that many enjoy multiplayer, but it just kills any enjoyment I have in a game, at least the types of games I favor. It would need to be something like a fighting game or racer for me to have some level of fun with multiplayer, and even then, couch MP. And in those scenarios, the fun only last for about a hour or so. And I can't justify $60 for 1 hour of fun.
I get that it's fun to others, just not my cup of tea at all.
@shaggy
Nintendo didn't save gaming as we know it. they saved gaming period. Sony saved gaming as we know it. Meaning gaming would look a lot different right now if MS had their way. Our consoles would have been always online drm machines, used games would be a relic of the past, you'd have a mandatory camera that spied on your reaction to advertisments that MS would then go back and sell to said advertisers, if you wanted to share games, you'd have to pay MS. And MS...
multiplayer... ugh.
Depends on how they're handled. If they only pump out mediocre, broken games with a "only $10 with gamepass" and followed up by, "hey I know your month is about up, but we fixed some issues and have some DLC coming, better re-up that gamepass."
Then no.
So I'll wait and see. but I will say, I'm actually open to buying an xbox next gen, something I didn't think I'd even consider after what they tried to do and they've been doing t...
Exactly. I also liked how it looked like one properly placed hit can kill an enemy, reminds me a bit of bushido blade in that regard.
So now you're changing your stance and claiming consistency. Now you don't want to blame video games... again. the first time I said this you pulled a "gotcha" by saying that you never actually said that. Now that I go with your new stance, you're switching again. because consistency...somehow.
So you feel guns give you great power and you love them. That says a lot. I don't need to say anything on that, just hope you can reflect on what you said.
@10th rider. yes, I already said my piece on that. There is an underlying issue/s yes, but we can still take steps to limit the amount of deaths. While we try to figure out how best to tackle said issue, we can keep a larger number of people from dying. Will they find another way to kill people, certainly. Will we still be seeing as high a body count? highly doubtful.
They don't jive? You don't want one thing because you want the other. let me put it a little more simply for you. You don't want to blame the guns for gun violence so you're blaming video games.
You said that you never said video games weren't part of the issue and clearly you don't want gun control. Those two things both apply to you. Now you can say they don't. but you can't have your cake and eat it too. If you don't want gun control be...
power of the cloud? sea of thieves?
It's not going to reach PS2 numbers. PS two had more going for it and less hurdles. PS2 was already the "it" console but didn't even have to worry about whatever numbers xbox would do since it launched so much later. it was a dvd player at the perfect time and I'm sure that got a ton of people to pony up who were on the fence. mobile gaming wasn't a thing to peel off some filthy casuals.
The only real advantages PS4 has over PS2 is that they can set th...
