Silogon is definatley just trying to get attention. Who would ever look at the PS3 as a casual machine? Where are you seeing them changing stance and going casual? Did you dream it up? They are NOT going to turn it into a Wii. Trust me on that.

Sony will win e3 again this year, what is there to worry about? You honestly think they would mention their huge surprises a month before the show? Give me a break. What could Nintendo and MS possibly have to even come close to Sony's lineup?
I love my PSP and PS3 and you are dead on. I want games that push the envelope and give me something new. I like the movie-esque cut scenes in MGS4. I like storytelling. I like HD graphics. Basically, I like the future.
You have bought into the lie. Whats innovative? Most of Nintendo's main games don't even use the motion control as the main way to control the game. Gameplay is the most important, and the Wii is lacking in this department as well as the graphics department. But you knew that right?
This is why I can't stand Wii discussions. Everyone always says i'm getting my ass kicked, or I picked the wrong system. No sir, PS3 is my favorite system this gen because it has the best games. If the Wii were winning because it was quality, then so be it. I would not have much to say.
You are correct. Get a PS3/360 and don't worry about sales numbers. Nintendo is cleaning up and I don't see that changing anytime soon. The Wii was sold to me on the promise of having "core" games as well as casual games for the new market they are targetting. So far I have had nothing aside from Galaxy and Smash to keep me occupied. I haven't turned my Wii on since March. So, that is one reason why I hate on the Wii. Empty promises...
Not good? Lol, some people expect too much. The Wii hasn't even sold over 100k (besides launch month) a week in Japan and you expect the Ps3 to do that? Be realistic. These sales are FANTASTIC. a 700% increase is ridiculous. What other game has an attach ratio of 25%? It really is something amazing.
I am waiting for Sotc 2 to be announced at e3. The battle music on the first boss fight is what pulled me in. What an amazing game.
1st day buy for me. I'm very excited to be getting both Bioshock 1 and 2 for PS3. And on that note, getting games on PS3 a little later than 360 wouldn't be so bad if they were always better graphically and content wise. But, thats not always the case. :(
Only problem with installs, is that we will run out of space eventually. I'm all for the installation otherwise. No loading = win?

This is why games like Ocarina of Time are still #1 in the overall rankings, because it didn't have to worry about no name reviewers lowering its score. Back in the N64 days, there were only a few big reviewers who had any say in what score a game should get. Now everyone who has an opinion can post a review and it goes onto the main gamerankings score if posted. Seriously, what the heck is boomtown?
PlayTV for NA would be one of the best things they could release IMO. I have been jealous of that service ever since I heard about it.
