It just occured to me the other day that my 360 PLAYS DVD's!!!
I have always used the feature, but just think how nice it is to be able to play all of your old movies... or new rentals without having to tack on some cheap DVD player to your setup
And the Nintendo WII doesnt even play DVDs! "Ooooooo its $50 cheaper than the low end 360".... but dvds run anywhere from $40 and up
Why doesnt anybody ever notice this?

Had blu-ray not been included i might have bought a Ps3 instead of a 360... since the prices would be the same and Sony has a stronger brand name.

I like to argue for the 360 because i believe that there is actually a very slight difference in performance between the ps3 and 360 and that most who believe that the ps3 is a leap ahead are suckers to all of the Ps3 hype and claims.
Its nothing wrong, most people make judgments without actually looking into the subject... its normal

a feature that (as impressive as it may be) tacked on at least $200 dollars to the systems price. And lets not forget the fact that very few people can actually utilize the blu-ray player until they buy a Hd-Tv (even more$$$)
But ill agree with you on the 360 h...
(or their friends) who move the 360 while it is on and keep playing the game thinking nothing of it.... and the next time they happen to open the disk tray, the disk is magically scratched. They probably dont even know that moving the 360 while in play will scratch a disk so they blame the manufacturer.
In a way it makes sense, because the 360 does have alot of hardware failures, but you just cant apply that logic in every instance
This has absolutely nothing to do with the 360 or the Ps3!
It is all empty speculation at this point and all i see are fanboys flaming other fanboys claiming that they are not as lame as the other.
Kojima and Square want to wait untill the install base grows much larger, but this is a Catch 22 because Final Fantasy and MGs4 are the 2 main Ps3 Hardware drivers on the lineup.
To be honest, i really dont care whether or not final fantasy and MGS4 come to 360...... Unless there are boxes in MGS4.... then i will totally want it so i can cruise around in a paper cube.

I already had read about the technical problems before i even bought my first copy so i bought a replacement plan for it. My first 2 had to be traded back due to some impressive overheating problems (ALL DURING THE SAME MONTH!!!!), but i have been on my third one for almost a year and a half without any problems.

Ya..... if you have a $3000 + computer.
Its so irritating, i souped up my computer just under 2 years ago by basically rebuilding my whole thing.... It was EXPENSIVE!
And now the new games that come out do not run nearly as well as they used to so i just said Screw it! im NOT going to replace my overly expensive video card once a year just so i can keep up with the games!
Thats why i like consoles, a uniform hardware base that all games are optimiz...
Wii games arent exlusives because nobody wants them (even if they may not) but because the controller and the hardware in the wii is so radically different from the other 2 competing consoles

One thing that might work however, would be to drape a dampened wash cloth over the top of the console to cool it off while it is running

Its annoying because THE MART (and fanboys like him) don't have a hand in debate or discussion as much as they just shout obscenities and incoherent arguments.
