@The_Engineer who cares? The most common HDTV size is 32-37" and 720p. So why should most people care what version goes higher than 720
hmmm... ok? I got a disagree on the fact that I own games for my PS3. You xbots are just unreal lol
follow the link and watch the new ads that started friday.

I think thats gonna stick pretty well.
If PS3 owners don't buy games then what are in all these game cases I have? I have 10 right now (plus several more I downloaded on PSN), and COD4, Haze, and Uncharted in the next few weeks.
So... exactly why should anyone care if they have 90nm or 65nm? Its not like the chip is causing a problem. So who cares?
Very sad and very true MK
So just because EA has drunken monkeys at the wheel means that no one can figure out the PS3? Naughty dog, Insomniac, Team Ninja, Bethesda, From Software, and Ninja Theory all have a grip on it. If a bunch of much smaller devs can figure it out then what's Ea's excuse with their vast resources?
ya they are the Meijer down the street from my house was putting them on the shelves about an hour ago.
this guy knows nothing about what he's talking about.
"the need to constantly charge the PS3's consistently dying controller batteries, the lack of USB ports could definitely become an issue."
Yeah having to charge a controller every 20 hours of gameplay or so is waaaaay too often.
"And for those who bought into Sony's super-expensive Super Audio CD media format, those discs won't be playable on the 40GB version"
Sur...
it only came out tuesday. you'll have to wait untill at least next week for sales numbers.
My dad is doing the same, but with ratchet and clank instead of warhawk.
@ER1X
Sears holdings corp. is the owner of Kmart now and they are in 8th place, but I'd be willing to bet most of the money is generated by Sears.
My girlfriend and I were in a Kmart about a month ago. It was honestly the saddest and funniest thing I've seen in years. there was 1 lane open at 4 pm on a saturday, they only had 6 month old games in the cabinets, no next gen demo stands, the launch demo stands for ps2, gamecube, and xbox, and almost no shoppers. I can't comment on the stores in other towns but the 1 here is doomed.
that drives me nuts too. I stopped pre ordering a while ago because nothing pisses me off more than seeing it on shelves 2 days before I get my copy.
I don't think they could even give you a discount on a new system. My friends mother works in the purchasing department for Target and she was telling me that stores buy the consoles and sell them at cost and only make money on software (was trying to get a hook up on my PS3). I don't know if she was just feeding me a line because she doesn't get a discount or if that is in fact the case.
sssshhhhh! If you tell people that then we can't watch them come up with their own crazy ass theories.
GameSpot does seem to have a hard on for questionable reviews as of late so I wouldn't doubt they'll pull crap like that.
Wow, if they do this, it might really be game over for HD-DVD. A $200 player might be attractive, but with so little support I can't see much of a point in buying it.
I don't see what the fuss is. If I have to wait a week or two to get the game but with all the bugs completely worked out then I say its worth it.
unfortunately he probably won't go to prison since he's being tried as a juvenile
