I had a problem with the line "first AAA title of 4th quarter 2007" mainly because its not 4th quarter. 4th quarter doesn't even start until october.
I agree that the "too short" thing won't mater to most. I mean lets look at a few other games, Gears of War= short, Metal Gear Solid= short, Devil May Cry= short. Every one of those games I beat in one day each and most people regard them as clasics, so I just don't see what the big deal is.
chances are they will cut out wifi and card readers to get the price down. I would expect an add on for the wifi tho

no way! they have to leave it the same. Everyone remembers that moment because of the impact it had on just about everyone who played it. If they changed it they might as well not make the game at all.
I don't think it would be won... but the gap in installed units would disappear over night without a doubt. FFVII would get millions of preorders in the first week
I think the reason they aren't selling a disk is because Japan is going to be the smallest market for this game. The PS store also gets a lot more sales as well and I would be willing to be that most people don't need a headset as it seems everyone in Japan has a cell phone. Its the only place I've ever been where I've seen little kids all walking around with them.
honestly the stuff about the companies like MS and Sony doesn't really bother me because its really minor stuff. OH no sony deleted negative comments about bluray and MS changed it to say MSN is a rival of google and hide the RROD, who cares. What really bothers me is the newspapers and governments making those changes.

no console has ever won the war with out the japanese accepting it. So what they are looking forward to buying is important because it helps shape (not completely determines mind you) what system gets what games everywhere else. If the 360 were more popular in japan it would probably be getting more japanese games such as MGS4 or FFXIII.
I'm sure he kept saying PS3 because of the fact that no matter how you look at it Playstation has been the biggest name in gaming for the last 12 years and still the most commonly owned (not PS3 but Playstation brand products)
bioshock shouldn't be on the list unless they add UT3 and Haze because PS3 is the only console you can get those on too.
I agree that people need to stop jumping on the hype train but this goes for all 3 camps in the console war. All three got burned with a lower than expected score (from gamestop at least). Wii got hit with only 8.5 for metroid with an expected 9+ (I know not that bad but still lower) 6 for blue dragon and now 4.5 for lair. The moral is reserve judgement until its finished.
no worries. if you can't get a sever close enough to play well on you can always host your own, but I highly doubt that sony won't have servers in your general area to play on
been playing the crap out of this game since I downloaded it and haven't seen or heard anybody even talk about it happening
I don't think its wierd at all that they are doing these tests. It makes it a lot easier to spend that much if you know its near indestructable.
It would seem the PSM staff agree with you too, since they were the ones to post the news of his possible return on their site.
I really doubt they will remake it. They just seem to get off on teasing everyone.
