I think nothing will stop Capcom from doing this.
Problem is that people bought the Super version for SF4. Capcom knows there's a market for it.
This is the reason why I skipped over MvC3 initially.
Yes, I know it's important to attack the fallacies in Edge's review.
Luckily, Metacritic has gone to compare and tell us how Edge's scores match up against the rest.
Very telling.

As I've been telling my friends, whose fault is it if people are confused about Wii U?
I think it has to be Big N's fault. If you have the stage for 1.5 hrs, and you have live broadcasts and streams (so that as little as possible is lost in translation), and you STILL cannot get the message clearly across, you're doing something wrong.
How hard is it? If I were Nintendo, I would have said, "Yes, there will be a ...
Strange though. I looked through Nowgamer's other reviews, and I can't them any of their other scores being listed on Metacritic, so I can't even see whether Nowgamer has been rating games higher or lower than industry average.
I doubt the veracity of this claim:
1. The 'fan' who reported the loss is essentially anonymous. No name, no background, no scanned police report, nothing. Very easy to fake.
2. If a hacker had indeed gone to the trouble of compromising an entire network, and gained access to 77 million accounts, you can bet your last dollar he'll be stealing more than just $200.
I'm not saying that we should brush off the security breach. I...
Dead Space Extraction I'm looking at you.
Freaking put all your story bits in skippable cut scenes, integrate the tutorial better, and pile the Necromorphs on faster!
It's piracy + not wanting to sideline PSN.
If you had LAN play, people would have found a way to host LAN networks over the net. Look at Garena and Hamachi.
That would have allowed people to bypass PSN entirely. People who mod would be able to get online play + free games.
Therefore, LAN play was de-emphasized.
To all the people who say that Android doesn't have games...... things have changed, eh?
As has been echoed many times before, the main gripe Asian PSN users have is NOT that the Japanese games are ported over slowly, it's that the US content takes SOOOO long to get over here.
Saying that the game has been played for 6 centuries in a single day, is conflating two different perspectives of time - the amount of time spent playing by COD players, versus the total time available to all the humans on earth.
Say there are 6 billion people on earth now. At 24 hours, that's 144 billion manhours in a single day.
144 billion manhours = 16,438.356 centuries.
So to be more accurate, COD occupied 6 / 16,438.356 = 0.0000036...
Step 1: get money up front for exclusivity to Xbox.
Step 2: watch PS fanboys rage about not getting DLC, hype / desirability meter goes up.
Step 3: release "exclusive" dlc for PS3 in a SHOCK announcement, ps3 fanboys buy the DLC in droves
Step 4: release Ultimate / Complete / GOTY editions for both Xbox and PS3, watch people buy these versions instead of buying them piecemeal since its cheaper

FragGen, sorry to hear that you don't like using the Move for shooters. But it seems like some other people are getting positive experiences!

we're looking at what, a Q3 2011 to Q1 2012 release window?
Doubt whether it'll arrive any earlier than that, especially since SE said that they will try their darndest best to have a global same-day release.
More importantly, I hope that the team had time to listen to feedback for FF13, and to try to deliver a game that could somehow live up to the legacy of the name.
If it does though, it'll be the first time that a spin-o...

I would prefer a female Snake, ie., a playable Big Boss.
It's about time the MGS frachise got a starring female lead.

How can I believe that consoles have hit their upper limit when your studio skips out on towns in FF13 because it would take too much time to create them?
You can't NOT do something because of your own commercial decisions, then say "oh in anycase the consoles have hit their upper limit."
Here's their "evidence":
"Now you can take this with a grain of salt, but we have some more evidence pointed to having players compete or work together in the shocky open world PS3 exclusive. Earlier this month they gave a comment to GameInformer saying "I can tell you that this is a super-exciting time for the PS3, and there's a lot of cool stuff afoot. We're not realy divulging any details, but we're excited by all the traction other pr...
is there some pun or something there? =(
Hmm. I have serious doubts as to whether or not this reviewer even played the game.

The structure and layout of the review, down to the decision to label one boss "Super Saiyan", to playing the game on mute on account of the soundtrack, to singling out Chocolina... it is all toooo similar to Joystiq's review.
