I prefer gameplay over graphics but I like the best of both even better. On topic, this video was hilarious.
I don't know but I really disliked the Water Temple from OoT. The game is awesome, the temple is not LOL.
Looking forward to this. I'd like to see some more information on the Panta Rhei and Luminous engines. Blew my mind when I saw Deep Down, I'd really like confirmation that this is at least close to what we can expect next gen.
It uses pc parts but its built from the ground up as a dedicated gaming machine for hopefully under or around $500. Added to that you get a unique gaming focused OS, sony exclusives and ease of use for us and developers. It's a win, win for it to use PC parts.
Looks pretty good. Hopefully some of this exposure will help.

What feeling were they expecting? Have they played any of these? I thought the games looked really good to be honest. Until launch gets closer I guess we'll have to put up with these kinds of articles.

Core gamers (IMO) would love to own all three next-gen consoles, regardless of who manufactures them, so as to play a larger variety games. The Wii U should not be ignored simply because of its graphics capabilities. The controller and OS will be what makes the Wii U next gen, not it's gpu. In the end, what will make the Wii U successful will be its own unique library of games to be released over the lifespan of the console.
Very good article with some interesting points. Getting the tablet style controller idea across to the casual market is a tough proposition. Also the line-up while okay for a launch is (IMO) lacking that must have title that's in the same category as a Metroid or Zelda. The coming months will unveil more about Nintendo's plan for the future however, and they should never be counted out. I'm also pumped because I just pre-ordered the black version today.

These aren't gamers, they're whiners. If SEGA didn't cancel the game then it would've been multiplatform. From this angle it looks like Nintendo saved this game from never seeing the light of day.
I believe core gamer means someone who has an insane habit of playing all the games he/she can regardless of which console they own and regardless if they play competitively or solo. They more than likely have more than one console hooked up to a single television (including older generation tech), and have a large back log of games that have never been opened just in case a dry spell comes along. Kind of like myself LOL.
Games should not be censored (that's what ratings are for) and any game done with artistic integrity will be praised whether it be of action, horror or erotic genres. However someone needs to take the risk in making these games available as well. Steam didn't do it this time but I think somewhere down the road there will be a place for this genre. Porn went through the same thing in its infancy and now it's a multi-billion dollar industry. Maybe we're just not ready for it now...
IMO the only game that can dethrone COD is COD itself. If one day you buy the newest COD and the quality isn't there—the fans will start looking for alternatives.
I'll end up getting all next gen systems regardless of power (although I'm pretty sure the next big leap will come from Sony and Microsoft). The thing that intrigues me about Wii U are HD Nintendo titles and how developers will integrate the controller into their games and make unique experiences. IMO I consider the Wii U my secondary console to complement either the PS4 or 720.
Whoever's first blocking used games is the first company I won't buy a console from. I don't think it'll happen this gen though, I've heard the rumours, but I don't think either of the big three are willing to drop this bomba.
