Acheivements don't really proove anything, do they? Don't you get achievements just for loading a savegme? (not baiting, just asking..)
The xBox controller is much better. I'll give 'ya that one.
"For Gamers that play a lot, there is no better system than the Xbox 360"
Because there'll be plenty of time for you to break out your scrabble board & Trivial Pursuit box while your 360 is in for repairs. Now that's real gaming.
Add a Zakk b/w bulls-eye on it & it might be better.
I thought you said good games? When Mass Effect comes out, I'll probably pickup the 360 though.. I have a PC & PS3, Overlord on PC = less money than the 360.
Peter Moore couldn't have said it better himself. Oh wait.. he totally did at least year's E3.. sheez.
If true, it would be kinda funny that MS beats Sony over the head with the "PS3 costs too much" argument, then spends a wad of cash to get exclusivity for a $200 game.
Waiting to buy, but still have a few dozen PS2 games? Better buy the 60gb one now, because it won't be long before they yank the emotion engine out of it too.
Dev kit controller, that's all..
They used a picture of a Dev kit controller, that's all.
If you could afford both systems I am sure you will have a 360 right now becuase you're a gamer right?
I can afford both, and I have a PS3 + a kick butt PC for gaming. Since most 360 titles are also released on the PC, I think I'm pretty well covered. Oh, and the PC version is less money too.
If you're going to post a pic on an ebay auction, CLOSE YOUR LEGS when taking the picture. sheez.
They ARE the same except for the color, & the buttons on the top of the stick. The lights & screws & everything are in the same place. And the X45 is less than $100, not $150 like the want for this green one.
They are identical save the top buttons on the stick. The front strap on the stick is very telling, the palm rest on the throttle too.
Boy that looks familiar.. http://www.saitekusa.com/US...
White/Green is teh suk. Did they run out of Pink? Sheez...
Really? So they added some new "features", and becuase of that they take away game saves?
The value of the new stuff amounts to nothing more than bragging rights, where gamesaves have a real place in the experience. (Yes they do, Datel, MadCatz, and everyone else made a whole industry on it.)
Read his article from yesterday and it's pretty critical, and now this? Pretty inconsitent. I'm glad he's enjoying the PS3, now at least he may be a little more balanced.
If he's running a Core2 Quad, I'm suprised he didn't mention the PS3's DLNA access as a top 10 point. Accessing all your MP3's, pictures, & movies from your living room is one of the big things I use my PS3 for.
TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) is a valid metric, and yes it is used in car buying decisions.
Author of this article pretty biased, and rather than take the opportunity to come up with a real analisys that could maybe help someone just dumped fanboy crap and tried to justify it with numbers.
Thanks for the link soccerstar, at least that one was imformative.
As far as either standard I find it hard how it would relate to a gaming experice in any way other than capacity. DVD .vs HD-DVD .vs Blu-ray don't matter becuase the games just use it as a place to stuff content. The Drive is not displaying the content (codecs), the game engine is.
HD-DVD probably shouldn't even be discussed, as MS has said that there will be no games on that format.
That leaves 9gb DVD .vs 50gb Blu-Ray. It's a no brainer which is a better med...
First news story for me, and I posted it because I'm gonna hook it up when available. I bought the Nyko charge/speaker system for viewing, and this is like that to the third power.
