Orochi 1 is PS2 & PSP also. Orochi 2 so far is 360 & PS2 only. That said, they have planned a PSP release of that for PSP later in 2009 I think.
This article is refering to Orochi "Z" (the third game) in Japan in March per wikipedia, and IGN also references it.

What kind of idiot makes a story about strange controllers, then doesn't include pictures of them.. Adam, you can do better than this.
First thing I read this morning outta bed.. Wake up to a page full of hate.. long winded hate at that. sheez. Dude, look up succinct in the dictionary and start living by it.
For all the people complaining about how small it is, get a combo keyboard from BTC or someone else. I'm using the 9019 now & it works great in the browser & in Home.
They didn't copy Microsoft, they directly ripped off MadCatz. They had the keyboard in the same place & released it in April of '07....
I kinda feel for this guy, he's 4 xboxes in, and it's clear that Microsoft has won the battle and he has been beaten. He doesn't even have the will to fight anymore, he's moved right past the "acceptance" stage right into a wierd Patty Hearst syndrome mentality.
No answers, just questions = crappy article.
PSN is great in that in addition to copying savegames, you can also have multiple downloads (5 different PS3's I think is the max)of PSN games that you purchased. Some of the big games are the only exception. It's cool that I can buy a game and share it with my brother, and we don't have to buy two copies.
I remember a while ago you could copy & use savegames no matter what user they were from. Guys used it to trade rosters in sports games.
Then people started using savegames to cheat achievements & gamerscores. MS then made it so you can't use any savegame that is not associated with your gamertag's unique ID (the one that changes if they recover your tag).
So this guy's whole problem, and everyone else who has it is because some guys wanted to cheat to ...
From the source article:
"When television sets came on the market in the late 1940s, it was the airing of heavyweight fights and football games that led Dad to make the big purchase; to this day, sports events – the battlefield made civilized – glue him to the Barcalounger when he should be folding the laundry."
I love it... Grow up, be a man, take responsibility! Oh and fold the clothes would you?
Really, what's the problem? It's bad enough that they couldn't figure out how to make the PS3 controller work with GH1, 2, & 80's (so we have to keep the PS2's plugged in) but this is just moronic. Can Neversoft not make a controller work? Can Harmonix? It doesn't look like it. I'm so tired of the "we support stanards" CYA BS. Make the durn thing work.
I'm not buying 4 effing guitars to play the way I'm supposed to be able to play. Even if you wanted to, yo...
Who cares about "code base".. it's a freakin' controller not a lighting engine.
Gran Turismo can support something like 4 different controller/wheel/wheelpad offerings, but for some reason nobody can make a guitar work.
The PS3 is what it is. Kutaragi designed it to do all this cool stuff. If Kaz wants to change the marketing direction, he can do that, but it doesn't change what comes in the box. All he can do is try to change peoples perception of what comes in the box.
As far as what a PS3 "is", I'd rather take the word of the guy who designed the box than the word of the guy who inherited it. If you want to know how your car works, you don't ask the salesman you ask the engine...
It's the most entertaining one.. Although the "beyond" podcast is cool too so long as Greg's there, without him it's kinda bland.
I'm picking this up. I'm glad I've had the demo to play with ahead of the game comming out. Learing to counter is totally worthwhile visually.
DW is simple enough that any of my friends that come over can button mash, and cool enough that I like playing it.
4 player might be a bit much, but co-op on line would be great.
They open 2 xboxes and they look the same.
They then ignore or are completely clueless about 100 pictures of new heatsinks attached to about 200 stories about it.
Then they conclude that MS hasn't made and thermal fixes.
Riiiiight...
Dynasty Warriors has been comming out on xbox since DW3, Samurai Warriors was on xbox, DW gundam is going xbox.
What would make anyone think Koei would go exclusive?
The Destructiod article didn't mention anything about exclusivity, I just said it was announced for the PS3 without mentioning the xbox. Great image though ;)
Great looking game, it's always been fun. On line co-op would be awesome.
I'm a little tired of the "where's the innovation" and "same old same old" crap from reviewers. It seems like they want Dynasty Warriors to not be what it is. It's a button masher, and a good one.
Sometimes you just wanna to pickup a controller and knock the hell outta 500 guys on a battlefield without complicated gameplay mechanics.
After 2-3 years of high profile departures this can't be too big a surprise can it? I mean if everything was so great they wouldn't have left. That said, I'll miss the 1up yours podcast the most. It really is the best gaming podcast around imho.
