God of War III is a good game, but it's not a GREAT game. God of War III is a decent sized game, but it's still a short 8-hour gam...
The proactive approach on trying to justify the medicre sales of God of War III is a sad trick performed by GamesThirst. Hilarious. They see that the game is selling well, but not good enough. They also know that God of War III was going to be sold to the existing fanbase, and legions of potential PS3 Owners WERE NOT waiting for this game to justify buying a PS3.

This game will mirror Uncharted 2's sales and come out of the gates slow. Then, with bundling, the sales will steadily increase, and then it'll land between 3-4 million copies. Good sales, but not stellar.

NOW God of War III comes in, and has WAY less replayability than Halo 3: ODST. That game had all the Halo 3 Maps, a strong campaign, and the coveted Halo: Reach Beta Key.

PS3 Owners have NOTHING to play from the God of War III release until then. And God of War III can be finished in 8 hours with no Replay Value. Shame.
