No they don't. Most of them barely cover the costs of traveling if not sponsored. Only a few can actually make a living off of this stuff.
Most of these people live at near poverty levels just so they can play a video game all day everyday.
@Foxgod
You're wrong, yet again.
He was boosting his APM score. Many of the actual best players in the world do not play that ignorantly.
Occasionally you'll running across one of these players when looking at the best replays but it's not often.
They'll all twitch around a bit in the beginning to get their fingers moving for late game multitasking. But not that badly...
Fully aware of that, skip. I was using windows xp as an example of a low cost OS. I doubt you're running planetside 2 at max settings on xp 32bit.
Just looking at the recommended specs for planetside 2 I find it really hard to believe this rumor. Just looking at windows xp specs it needs 4 gigs of ram plus a video card that obviously has additional memory on it.
Since the developer has said the ps4 version is basically the PC version on maxed settings I'm thinking this rumor will eventually be debunked. The ps4 still needs to have GPU memory allocated from the available pool and with 4.5 gigs available that doesn...
You're wrong.
I especially love how in the rear view mirror everything just vanishes in a flash.
No thanks. Not going to give them $500 just to "give them a chance" ... That's the most absurdly stupid thing a consumer can do.
Says boob avatar person.
Dedicated servers! Watch out the cloud is coming!
No thanks. Kratos is amazing. Let Japanese studios make JRPGs, let Santa Monica studios make what they're good at.
No dedicated servers no thanks on playing.
Yes please.
Confused as to why people would disagree with facts, but whatever.
And ubisoft said both next gen console versions will be the same.
There is still always going to be a lead console platform even when PC is the main development focus.
Not to be a Debbie downer, but they've already gone on record saying they aren't going to utilize the extra benefits from the GDDR 5 ram. This is simply PR hype.
Bioware was purchased so EA would have control over Star Wars The Old Republic.
It just makes me so happy to see Sony listening to their fans and making this controller better then that hideous DS3.
@CommonSense
"Every corporation does what it can to avoid paying as many taxes as possible. That, btw, is a good thing. The more taxes a company pays, the more they will charge for their products/services."
So this is why Apple products are so dirt cheap?
Please, son...
"This is econ 101. Too bad our criminal government has brainwashed so many people into believing their propaganda."
@Foxgod (again)
No, you're wrong and will continue to be wrong.
The developers asked for a faster, larger pool of memory. They received GDDR5 - which for a closed system like a console, latency is not a factor.
Physics run perfectly fine (better in most cases) on GDDR5- hello Nvidia PhysX running flawlessly on GTX cards with GDDR5 ram on board.
Also the CK and WCK clocks will be aligned for lower latency read/wri...
