The newer ds4s have the same batteries as the old ds4s. And still, 8-10hrs is a joke for gamers like me that game long. The switch's joycons go for 20+, pros go for 40+. My xb1 rechargeables i got off amazon for $20 for two go for 20+ and once it runs out I can simply swap it out and charge the dead one. I don't get why people are defending sony's crappy batteries, have always hated how short lasting they are since launch day of the ps4.

Odd indeed. But well jp gamers are quite critical with games. I imagine the game has at least as much added content like golden and fes which I am completely fine with. Also playing the game in jp voices too which makes it a bit more fresh for me as I played base game in dub for only 1 playthrough.
Oh lawd they will indeed be pricey. $200-300+ for a top quality 1tb nvme and the ps5's will be even faster and higher quality...
I do wonder how sony will price them and we all know how the vita memory cards worked out...
And especially with how big the sizes of next gen games will be....ugh...
I know games will lose that speed and potential but I really wish theyd make hdds compatible with next gen exclusive games or even lower quality ssds.

This is what Im saying lol. The ds4 has a crappy 6hr battery. My xb1 controller has 2 rechargeables that last 20+hrs each. Sure I forked out another $20 but it is very well worth it. You cannot do this for the ds4, I just wire it most of the time due to the fear of the low battery notification lol.
It was the standard way back then. Companies have built in batteries now to make you want to buy new phones lol. Batteries have a limited amount of life and slow down with usage and charges. Built in batteries are a BAD thing and most people won't care or even know this.

Its really not a bad thing. You can buy multiple 3rd party rechargeable batteries that can last a long time and once the juice runs out, you can simply just swap em out and charge the battery that ran out. Bought my 2 rechargeables from amazon for only 20 bucks, each lasts about 20+hrs. They also last about 2000 charges. You even have the option to just use a usb for your xb1 controller without a battery.
I really wished sony did the same honestly, I wouldn't mind it if they last...

Anything can be ported anywhere, there'll just be downgrades to graphics, framerate, and resolution for the switch ofc. As long as it runs stable is pretty much what matters most.
