Theyre unsure with everything with this game lol. Id wish theyd just limit it to 3 games and finally be done with it and finally move on to 16 or remakes of other ff games. Then they just go and change up a lot of things and important ones when they could've just made it a simple remake thats completely faithful to the original and everyone especially hardcore fans will be very happy. This also means they'll do multiple big projects at the same time again and every game will be a mess...

The option for BC is always a good thing and keeps games alive. Instead we have to rely on cashgrab remasters each gen to gen and if you've been paying attention to the last couple gens, then you all should know that there are tons of remasters and they always sell, resident evil 4 for exanple lol. Really, games from older gens should be able to have enhancements and whatnot for newer gen consoles but alas, money.

It ended up horrible tho lol. Look how bad kh3 and ffxv got it alongside ff7. 13 was bad enough too with type 0, versus 13, and the 3 games for ff13. Square was a complete wreckage during those times.
It looks like ff7 got the priority which was how it ended up actually good and I much rather they keep doing it to finish up the remake so that the qualitys good and it doesnt take another 5+ years to release. Im sure ff16 and kh4 are somewhat in very early stages though.

The game only needs to be good and fun. Originality is way too tough nowadays. And for devs that do try to be more original, they just can't pull it off.
Hope so. Their future does look bright but I'll believe it when i see it when they come out with titles on par to sony's.

The remake will most likely sell alot better but I myself am loving p5r more. Both are great games, get BOTH.
With so many jrpgs going for hd graphics, I much prefer em on my pc/ps4 nowadays for the better performance and full hd which sadly the switch doesn't have.
I loved jrpgs on the go mostly back in the day though with the gba, ds, psp, 3ds, and vita. Well Im a grownup now so I got money and want the best experience possible on better hardware. I do still love handheld gaming though. Also hate using the joycons, very uncomfortable and the drift is annoying.
Then why do most pros ive seen either play on pc or ps4 lol.
