The reason the elite has an 120 gb hdd is because they know that HD-DVD is failing, they are moving to downloadable content... period. Which is fine with me. They shoulda never backed Toshiba anyway... made them look like A$$e$. I still prefer a disc though and believe it or not most agree with me. In a couple of years I could see M$ adding a blu-ray disc player to their gaming consoles.
Here is the deal... if you add everything together to make sure the hardware specs match (add HD-DVD, wireless etc etc) the ps3 has a better deal WHEN IT COMES TO HARDWARE... PERIOD... you cant even argue that point.
The 360 had more games...another point that cant be argued.

A AAA title stops being an AAA title as soon as it goes multiplatform. Systems are different and therefore games need to be "dumbed" down to each of the systems weaknesses. Now a timed exclusive is a different story. But at least make it for one console at a time :)

There is plenty of good news for sony but no one pays attention to it.
As long as they don't dumb down the PS3 version... which it doesn't look like they will do, since it is a timed exclusive. MGS4 going multiplatform isnt that outlandish an idea. First and second party are going to be the only exclusives left by the end of this generation... and we all know who has more support there.
It is entirely possible that this game is a timed exclusive. no one in their right mind could think otherwise... just as with the 360 third party developers need to make a profit and with games costing what they do to make most 3rd party exclusives will go multi-platform. Good thing Sony has a very strong first party developer (something that the 360 is sorely lacking in). I wonder how many discs it will be? What do you ladies and gents think?

Yeah if it came out on the 360 at least you would get your daily exercise requirements because you would be changing discs constantly... the developer of this game was complaining because the single layer blu-ray didn't have enough storage. I couldn't imagine it on a dvd-9. Too funny.
I thought some magazine was going to release new info on Killzone this month. Does anyone know what I am talking about? The cover had "killzone" written on it. Anyone know when that information will be released?
IGN updates its release dates every tuesday, so check back then to see if things get mixed up a bit. I have never looked at UK release dates so I couldn't confirm these dates as new or even shuffled around. But it will be interesting to see. I could see Lair in April maybe not the 9th but in April. All these dates are plausible; however I dont see Killzone on July 13th. The only reason is that we have heard NOTHING about it. This may be a good sign, however, sony has done crazier things...
to gain 20% when the xbox only sells 3,492 consoles... that's pathetic. If the Xbox ever plans on winning the console war its going to be solely on the back of Americans. However, Sony has 193 reasons why they will win the console war (number of countries in the world).

Who knows. They have deliberately concealed most everything about this game. It is entirely possible that it comes out in July... but it is entirely possible that its not. I would lean more toward the latter but I am sure there will be a huge E3 announcement about this game. Whether or not it is the closer than we thought release date is yet to be determined.
