Maybe by using this chip in these machines they can better understand what can be done with it? Maybe. I dont know though.
Of course it is wanted. I don't really know a gamer that doesnt want the ps3. Some just cant afford it right now. However, desire and demand are two different beasts altogether.

I have both Halo 1 and 2. Tell me again what is so great about the gameplay that graphics dont matter? ITs a fps. The gameplay only gets so unique from other fps's. Story and graphics set this genre apart.
Now I am a big fan of the Halo series, I will get H3.

Im ready to declair who isnt going to win. Its your xbox... The U.S cannot carry the xbox alone to victory. no way. thats all the 360 has... now who will win? dunno. But if the fan base for the 360 in the rest of the world continues this way MS sure as hell wont.

no way. the reason is that they are/were taking huge losses on each console sold. They did this so that gamers could get everything included in the console for fairly cheap. They wont drop the price until they make some money back. The price will stay consistant for some time.
I am glad they are putting rumble back in. Now it will have motion sensing and rumble, while another controller just has rumble. I have two controllers as of now and will wait till the new controllers are out to get new ones... no big deal.

But it does have to be random sampling in order to represent the population. They cant all be from one region. I didnt look at the actual study but i do agree with you.
There is no way MS and PS will have about equal share. Maybe in the US but not in the world. I cant see MS being that big in the world market where they come out tied. Just no way.
MS doesnt have the support world wide that the ps does. I hope all of you who think MS is going to sell more 360's than ps3 take that into account. 100 million isnt that far off when you consider a world market.
Actually it means more than you might think. Beat out DVD? Not for some time. But in the process of becoming successor to dvd, this along with other news is a big deal. Once HD-DVD goes away blu-ray will be the successor to dvd.
