The last sales figures I saw was Blu-ray outselling HD-DVD 7 to 1. I think it is doing great.
Of course DVD's are outselling HD formats. However, what does that mean for the format war? Nothing. Blu-ray is the future.

This format war wont decide the fate of the PS3... these analysts are mixing up two completely different things. That is, if blu-ray fails that doesnt mean that the PS3 will. However, if the PS3 becomes a hit, I think the amount of players out there will determine the format war. I think at this moment in time the PS3 is determining the format war, not the other way around. If you don't believe me look at the sale figures for blu-ray after the launch of the PS3.
It isn't surprising that the CG is better than the actual ingame footage. However, we should understand that this game isn't coming out for a while and there is a lot of work to be done on it. For instance, Doh's picture looks identical even if the picture itself isn't as clear as everyone should like. We will have to wait and see. Due to my optimistic nature, I believe this game will be outstanding.
