Those games are nothing like Bioshock.
You seem to think that technology stops as soon as something hits a brick wall. It doesn't, people just find out how to remove the wall.
Why have you owned dozens of Razr products if you don't think they're that great?
'Even Resistance 2 was running at 1080p'
No, it ran at 720p.
Possible GOTY. Can't wait to play it.
@Diver
What the hell has my post history got to do with anything? So because I like gaming on pc I can't comment on anything else, even though I have every other console including a Vita?
I liked the bloody game, and I said it was a great game, that's it. No malice, just commenting on a game.
'pure console envy'? What the hell are you going on about?
You really are off-topic here.
EDIT:Beside...
Eh? I think you look through your fanboi glasses a bit too often morgan, you're seeing something that isn't there. I loved the game, and if anyone is interested in picking it up I'm more than happy to encourage them doing so, which is what I was doing here.
It's pretty sad that you have such a knee-jerk attitude to things, and clearly have a different mindset to myself.
I mean, really? Relentless in my posting? This is the first post I've ...
Yeah Machinarium is a great game. I loved completing it back in 2009 on my pc. Great game.
A console announcement would be great as well. Don't you think Root?
EDIT:Wow, shame to see you lose so many bubbles. Keep on trucking dude.
Maybe, but I think a lot of the horror and tension wouldn't be as effective as if you only played SP. A lot of horror, and I'm not talking about just in gaming, is when it relates to one person.
For example - Someone can go to see a horror film on their own and be affected by it, but if they go to see a film with their friends the film has less of an impact because they share the experience and can laugh through it.
I actually know of a few people in ...
I just can't see how horror can be made to work when you've got a mate to laugh and joke with while you're playing. Maybe it can, but the effect of horror is most effective when you are alone.
I've never needed a strategy guide, as I consider them to be for the weak willed and weak minded. But if I was to choose the best strategy guide, it would be a pc version.
I only choose strategy guides that can be viewed in 4k. And that means it will be a pc guide.
Game guides in 720p are so last gen.
No. Single gamer horror is the best, and most effective way.
That's great for any gamer that somehow hasn't played a GoW game since it launched, all those years ago.
Nvidia has plenty of games that utilise the gtx560 very well. What do you mean exactly? If it's about this nonsense that pc components don't get utilized to their fullest, I will say that they do actually.
Nvidia make a point of updating their drivers to use the graphics cards to their maximum as much as possible. And regularly.
If they can update a driver to work in a specific environment, they do so. And they do it much better than AMD.
I've purchased cards from both companies over the years, and they both have had great cards that have been worth the money. And I've bought AMD's processors in the past when it's been the logical choice.
At the moment nvidia are in a much more comfortable position, they are profitable and have a good stranglehold on the desktop area and also have their fingers in other pies.
AMD on the other hand are struggling and will take any opportunity to...
It's only 50% in the uk, typical.
This is true yeah. There's a game I got off Steam in one of the sales, The Binding of Isaac, which cost me a couple of quid I think. That game has more re playability than most full price games I've ever played, which is largely down to the random nature of the levels.
If a game can provide a lot of replayablity, the actual time it takes to complete the game on a playthrough is not an issue. Games that are linear, and pretty much the same through every playthrough, ar...
Nvidia make a healthy profit from what they do, I doubt that's going to change because of the ps4. This article doesn't have anything to with the ps4 anyway.
What have hovercars got to do with anything? There wasn't anything set in stone as to when we would be driving advanced transport, only science fiction films.

My point is technology doesn't stand still, and limits get broken. Silicon wasn't even supposed to last anywhere near as long as it has, but it has.
New technologies are always being researched, this is just one of many ideas being developed as an alternative to silicon -
