I'm expecting plenty of money back, so I don't mind too much. I love tax rebates. Getting my tax rebate is one of my favourite days of the year, a day when I can say 'You owe me this, Government!' and receive it.

I'd disagree. Dishonored was up there with the Thief series for setting, dialogue and choice of how you tackled a target.
Very few games come close to what Dishonored achieved.
The ps4 might be the low end that holds back games. Nothing has been announced when it comes to MS's offering. Won't that be funny if the ps4 isn't as powerful? I'd laugh until my skull came out.

Because this is N4G. And N4G loves to gloat, mostly about the most trivial of things.
It's just a repeat of the last gen. Many games will be far more playable on pc compared to their consoles counterparts. There's no difference with the exception that console technology will be even further back on release than what it was in the ps3 and 360 generation.
Multiplats will perform better on pc, and linear exclusives will give a wow factor on console.

The GC controller was excellent. I will say I've never had too much problem with the Dualshock, but I'd give the worst controller to the Vita, the thumbsticks are terrible.

What is Killzone going to be? Was it 30fps or 60fps, I can't remember. If it ends up being 30 fps, I guess they must be lazy.
Any dev team working on ps4 who sacrifices framerate for visual quality MUST be able to actually make a game 60fps with the same visual quality if they really want to, that's the logic.

PC's yes, but not consoles. Mobile gaming is moving ahead at such a pace that it's not unrealistic to say they will be far more advanced well before the next console cycle ends.
A pc is capable of constantly moving forwards, but consoles are static.

I thought FEAR 2 was a good effort for a sequel but the storyline wasn't nearly as well done as the first.
I got the 3rd game in a steam sale as well, and I wasn't too impressed either. I wouldn't say it was a terrible game but it wasn't anything like the first two games. The emphasis had changed from being a creepy shooter to a multiplayer gung ho shooter.

Yeah the original FEAR was great, but after that the series took a turn for the worse. Which is a shame, I loved FEAR.

It's obviously for the benefit of people who collect games for the GBA. I don't know if you know, but some people do still love to own the actual game cartridges, not just the roms.
It's quite telling of the industry at the moment that 3.4 million sales in a month is a supposedly bad thing. I remember hearing something similar from EA that Dead Space 3 needed to shift 5 million to be considered a viable franchise to carry on.

The thing is, when you buy a gaming pc you won't need to buy the whole thing again, you can just upgrade certain parts. I've spent about the same money that a ps3 would have cost me on launch, since the ps3 launched, and I have a pc that is far and away more powerful than a ps3.
Once you have the basis for your pc the costs in upgrading are about level with the cost of a new console. And you also spend a lot less on your games, that fact alone...

It's had a load of reviews since you posted, and pretty much all of them have been perfect scores. It's a very good indication that it is going to be one of the highest rated games.
Maybe Bioshock Infinite is just a much better game, even with the flaws.
