thankfully the xb1 supports external drives
Stop using all that common sense logic and reason! This is the internet for crying out loud. Every subject should be outrage and entitlement!
Seriously though. You are absolutely correct in my opinion.
@xheavy: completely different thing, mate. Consoles can have exclusives to gain an edge. That's business. Treating a multiplatform game like an exclusive is just lying or hiding. That goes for xbox. That goes for sony.
more like... driveclub needs more to make the sim fans happy. the lack of customization and tuning on top of not having any real world tracks leave me needing more than just pretty graphics.
project cars is the only one out of the 3 you mentioned that will provide a truly deep enough experience to satisfy proper car racing enthusiasts so I think i'd choose that.
i eagerly await the 18th
theres not much to get excited about driveclub for. it has good graphics. that gloss will fade and will get boring fast.. especially considering the limited cars, no customization, no real tracks... just like grid and pgr.
ms needs to ditch the parity clause. i really enjoy the x1 but it doesn't have the best rep right now, and this certainly doesn't help on any level. if they want to show indie dev's love, they could be a lot more flexible on this.
You can't judge anything based on web photos and video. They are stepped on so many times, are taken from works in progress and the video conversions NEVER translate 1 to 1 on top of getting stepped on by h264 or flv
I think that he stated fh2 he enjoyed more. Usually when you enjoy one thing more than another it's because it does thingies better. That's not bias, it's just opinion. Personally I'm not interested in either of these games but since I own both consoles, I too would take fh2 over driveclub. More cars, open world, dynamic weather at launch, same res and frame rate etc. the sony fanboys might just have to accept that fh2 is at present simply a stronger title.... No matter how go...
While I agree it's better with the wheel, you can turn the assists off very simply when using a controller. The 360 supported fanatec and Logitech wheels. I had both. Fanatec is also releasing a new wheel for current gen along with the thrust master and ceappy madcatz
They are both first party racing sims. They're exactly in the same class to be compared. Gt was the superior racer until gt4 and then forza took over by a mile. Gt5 was the most disappointing release of all. It was so bad to me that I nearly wrote off gt all together. 6 had some redeeming values but it's not as good as f5 and I have both.
Gran turismo went downhill. Gt5 had car models from the ps2 lumped in. The didn't even bother doing interiors for them. It had no damage modeling, you couldn't actually flip cars and they didn't even leave skid marks until a later update. Meanwhile forza 4 was still loading on features and included all the things gt5 didn't. Gt6 was just a slightly better version of of 5. Forza 5 while having less tracks than 4 was disappointing, they rebuilt the entire physics engine with Dun...
ahh is that road atlanta i see?
I wish the ps4 multitasking worked more like the xb1. The fast resume stuff is awesome. You can literally just flip back and forth thru games and apps with no loads. That said, I like the ps4s activity updates more than xb1
This is def one area the xb1 excels at. The updates have been stellar and fast and most of this stuff is already here or coming very soon
Now this is a ps4 update I'm actually looking forward to.
It's hilarious that the fanboys have gotten so rabid that both you and the article had to clarify it's not criticizing the ps4. Also not completely related but, there's an article about new cars on fh2 and what do you know... The first comments flagged for trolling. Getting completely uncivilized.
Those definitely piqued my interest. Very clever.
i actually prefer the x1 controller to the ds4 by a lot. the sticks are weird on the ds4, the battery sucks, its an odd size for my hands, the rubber wears out quickly. the xb1 controller also has impulse motors in the triggers which are hugely welcome and really help add a tactile experience. i think this was a far better add than a tiny speaker on the ds4 that sounds really tinny and usually startles me more than adds immersion. i do like that the ds4 has a standard usb charge though. ...
