just got a crew beta code for ps4 so I guess we'll see how it is.
project cars.
@King: Ah. :)
i would be completely on board with that. just take my money.
it has a photo mode.
ist on 360 too but pared back a bit from the one version
you know to be honest... the graphics aren't that far off. i just bought fh2 and have played a demo of drive club through a work connection. i'll give drive club the edge on some of the rain interaction and atmosphere of the rain etc (didn't see snow and fh2 doesn't have snow) but the environments, cars, lighting etc are pretty similar on both when you are actually playing and looking at it on a screen vs web screen gabs that seem to smooth out the aliasing on both titles. ...
if you loved the demo, you will absolutely love the game. the amount of stuff to do and explore is amazing.
i wouldn't say they are afraid of freedom so much as prefer having power but yes. the population is huge and even a small portion of that population able to afford consoles would still be huge.
"soulless answer" seems a bit harsh. aside from cover mechanics, they seem like completely different games.
it does have a way of sucking you in for long periods of time.
I agree. I hate it when a pc guy chimes in with the typical 4k resolution comment when people are discussing the visual fidelity comparisons between consoles... It's like. No s#!t. Some graphics cards alone cost as much as a console. A rig capable of destroying a console also costs 2-5x more than a console. It's like showing up at a Toyota dealership in a jaguar f type and telling all the people buying corollas that the jag can beat it in a race. Completely unnecessary and always a gi...
Most likely better :)
i wouldn't say disappointing but maybe the year of overhyping and delays. Watchdogs was certainly overhyped in my opinion as was Destiny (though I still enjoy it). There have been some gems though. Infamous: Second Son was good fun, TLOU: Remastered was a bonus, Titanfall has kept me up late more than a few times. FH2 (which i gave into peer pressure from friends and one heck of a fun demo) comes out tomorrow and i still have project cars, sunset overdrive and little big planet 3 to lo...
awesome. thx. i was curious to know about the mad catz but had some skepticism due to my history with them.
oof thats a kick in the ol' ms balls.
what are your thoughts on the TX? My Fanatec wheel doesn't work on xb1 and nothing on ps4 seems like its going to support it.... kind of a bummer considering the cost.
@RIP_Weazel:
I have a ps4, dumbass. I just don't think DC is going to be a good game.
ha. thats an awesome screen.
its a cultural thing. They aren't obsessed so much with the latest and greatest technology (surprisingly) as they are with finding a larger selection of titles that appeal to them. To a Japanese person the ps3 might be more appealing than the ps4 for example because it has tons of quality software - even if its not the latest craze. They are a proud and loyal country too which is probably an additional reason why they give Nintendo a lot of love and don't seem to be pushing too hard...
