if you only played for 30 min then you missed about 99% of what actually makes it fun. thats like watching the opening credits to a movie and bailing cuz you didn't like the font.
i had the same problem.... well and i really do think the battery is subpar. i'm sure the next rev will address it though.
"whats tuning?" driveclub asked
the terms "gaming" and "journalism" shouldn't be included in the same description for about 85% of the content on this site.
dc is made by a lot of the same people that made pgr. it has about the same type of (smallish) car selection and lack of tuning/customization that pgr does. its closed track on fictitious tracks like pgr and rewards drivers more on their tricks than simply beating a clock like pgr. forza horizon is open world, has some degree of tweaking, tons more cars (like forza5) and uses a completely different game design.
driveclub is made by a lot of the same ppl that made pgr. also dc's game formatting is more like pgr. they're both closed track arcade racers that depend on "stylish" driving as part of the game mechanic. forza horizons is open world, persistent online and time determines what wins. i'd say dc is a lot like pgr and forza horizons is probably closer related to the crew
that would be awesome.
as an owner of both consoles i can say that xb1 is almost a different console from when i bought it. i love the ps4 but the functionality that increases each month on the xb1 is really impressive.... external drive support, dlna, boot up options, new multitasking features etc... the ps4 has barely even changed with the exception of things like control over the light bar (still no way to turn it completely off) and share factory (which i personally will prly never use). the interactive theme...
im really looking forward to this update. its awesome how fast they are implementing new features... and actually really good, useful ones.
just like with the ps4 there.
you're not alone. personally as a sim racing fan, i want to be interested in DC as there aren't any "good" racing games on the ps4, but its just shallow to me and doesn't touch on the areas of the sport that actually make it strategic and competitive. they spent all this effort making sure that light reacts properly on all these surfaces realistically, made streaking rain drops look realistic etc but didn't bother to make the physics of driving as realistic, or the...
prepare to be disappointed, wii U owners. After all of the hype on ps4/x1, I certainly was.
I wasn't impressed with destiny alpha initially but I had my first proper sit down with the full release last night with a big party of people and it was awesome. I'm officially down with destiny and can't wait to get back on it.
odd. i thought this gen was opposite of last gen. my xb1 is super quiet and my ps4 is the one making noise when the action gets heavy. i don't really care as its not horrible. if anything just thought it was kinda funny. not as bad as the original 360 though. that thing sounded like an air conditioner until they updated it.
Awesome. One thing I love about xb1 is how good the functionality and feature sets are becoming. Makes it truly feel like a next gen system as a whole.
Well... Mine craft dropped the hammer which surprised me, so I'm slightly concerned about destiny. I realize it runs on bungies load tested servers, but psn still has to route the traffic.
gasp! thats going to be 5-10 min of my life!!
i'll take the ps4 and xb1 over this any day. too much hassle for something that will be outdated in a year. i know the consoles run on lower specs than most gaming pc's but the whole environment of the consoles and the longevity of their life cycles seems like a far greater return on investment. i mean my 360 and ps3 lasted 6 years. PC's like this will be outdated within a year and won't even meet minimum requirements within 2-3. if you're going to go PC then make it ...
not that it matters that much but they have several agencies for different parts of the world. a few for european areas, americas etc.
i do love it when they get clever though. reminds me of the audi-bmw billboard war that broke out here in los angeles a few years ago. look it up if you're interested. you'll get a laugh out of it.
Web browsers don't support uncompressed image formats except maybe tifs, but without lzw compression a tif would be hard on the browser and horrible for loads
