I'm not. once the design changes are final it doesnt take long to make a shit ton of units. hell neither the PS4 or nextbox chips are done yet. small tweeks need to be made but other wise are running.
liar. NextBox chip is still in design phases.
you cant compare PC and Consoles so easily.
for example your PC need to run a large OS and a game at the same time. while consoles do not. they have a light OS.
Consoles you can also optimize. Developers know every PS4 (edit, so use to typing ps3) will have 8 cores and they can write code that takes advantage of that.
PC on the other hand can have 1-16 cores with speeds from 1ghz to 4.8ghz....
.8ghz with boost speed of 1.6ghz
I never thought about it, But minecraft would be rather cool on the WiiU.
it would make for a nice interface, not that the current is bad in anyway, and would be closer to the PC in terms of how it handles... now if the WiiU version also had infinite map size as well.....
I'm with Alos88 on this one.
He barely mentions the writing (I did allude to he touches on the new game, but doesn't really go into why he dislikes the game so much).
The writing is different. The language is foul and the world takes itself seriously.
when then the author went into a comparison saying how he liked the tongue in cheek and that DMC isnt that.... so once again a case of "I liked the old way" instead of real criticism of...
your opinion isnt fact either.
Many people DID enjoy GTA4.
some people Enjoyed RE5 even though it wasnt horror.
and whats wrong with Linear games?
while I understand and as a fan of many series myself, I like a certain appeal to a series and if they change that, I too would be upset. However, I am also a little sick that we as gamers don't let games evolve.
So what if RE5 and 6 wanted to be action games instead of horror? ...
So an article complaining about the game, yet doesn't discuss the new game at all really. Just keeps talking about "I liked the old way"
I stopped buying things based on my hope it will get games.
Valve will support the system... but my existing library wont work (not linux games) so it really will be like a new console instead of inheriting the games of last gen like my PC normally does.
I guess the best thing is to push PC games out of our mind... the steam box isnt a PC.
The modular design of the Xi3 prototype also has me worried we will be upgrading these more often than w...
@Jim
controller is pretty well supported. I use it all the time. Big picture mode also makes it so the interface is designed for having a controller.
sounds like you are a little ignorant to the changes valve has been making already.
my only concern is 99% of my steam library will not run on the steambox. Other wise I would be right there with you man.
whom is going to support steambox? with their support will steam box be able to make itself stand out compared to the next gen consoles? (not really questions at you, more discussion topics)
so get a wireless controller, turn on big picture mode and sit on your sofa?
It has my interest as an idea, not as a product.
Older style boss' were always something I knew I could beat. Each boss had a patern and I had to follow it.
Skyward sword, which might be my new number 1 however often left me wondering what to do. I had to google real quick on the final boss simply because I wasnt putting the patter, the boss puzzle, and getting the openings to kill him.
Imprissioned 3 sucked. I couldnt figure out how to run around him in time to fight him for the longest time. the game ...
Depending on if it uses the Win 8 Kernal or not.
Xbox 8 or something along those lines.
I just wish I didnt need to go into Wii to get to the oldies but goodies. I would like to launch it from wii u menu.
PS4 and 720 are almost identical.
Astros is my go to for game Audio.... I dont even want to think about how monsters will sound in comparison...
misleading title. should be how hype effects your judgment.
the specs might be final, but that doesnt mean the bugs are out of the hardware. they are still getting revisions.
