I have a busy life, I don't have the same time to dedicate to games like I used to. I get on destiny I would say up to 6 hours a week and I am finding myself clueless as to how to progress my characters past 28. My armor has maxed out experience so if I upgraded it, I could reach 30 or so. However I often find myself hurting for materials to get those final few upgrades. I don't know how to get more shards to upgra...
@Xabmol
the fact that you feel like that is exactly why I have finally decided to leave this site. too many fanboys like yourself that have pledge allegiance to a console instead of just being a fan of games.
@Minato
MS has never had a strong first party (though now they have like 30 internal studios working on various things). So to call MS out on that is a little unfair. the Xbox has always been a 3rd party machine and has done a good job of it.
while exclusives are few and far between, 360 owners still have a huge selection of great games coming out every year. This generation everyone won. the 3rd party games totally blew 1st party games out of the water. few ...
Most consoles are closed system... this cost for patches isn't a MS specific problem... in fact this generation MS was very open to indy devs (till they hid the indy section deep inside the store and made it hard to find).
Sony has shown their hand for the PS4, where MS hasn't announce how XBL and the next Xbox will be handled, so its hard to really comment on MS's behavior.
Edit:
just to be clear, when I said MS was more open to In...
I love using Amazon for my pre-orders. I get home from work and boom there it is.
minor changes, but those are spec changes none the less.
Neither APU is production ready yet, which means everything sent out to devs at this point are and should be considered Target units. a ball park, but not what is going to be in every PS4.
well both next-gen consoles are still being developed. They might find that their cores for example can run perfectly fine a little faster than expected etc.... no major changes should be expected though.
however the challenge isnt what I like about God of War, do I enjoy a good fight? Sure. But I'm not going to sit there and go "god of war is ruined. its too easy now". That not why I picked up every god of war. Its not why I'm a fan.
why should it divide gamers?
we are all gamers, should not every gamer have a change to take on the final boss of a game regardless of skill? I thought that's why we built in difficulty settings now, Hard for those who enjoy the challenge, Easy for those who simply experience Krato's wrath.
You do not get to speak for myself as a God of War fan.
I never once liked God of War because of its difficulty or the challenge. What I enjoyed was a tight combat system mixed with a very interesting world that satisfied.
maybe people would see it.... if Ubisoft wasnt a dick and delayed a (finished)game I should be playing right now.
I dont understand how EA is the worst.
They don't always do things I like, but at the start of this generation they were "heros" with games like Mirrors edge....
now Time Warner Cable is a horrible company.
Maybe, AMD is loosing lots of talent. I have seen the lay-offs myself and the talent at AMD are looking for other jobs simply because job security doesn't exist.
I want AMD to do well, they kept intel honest and gave people competition in the marketplace. However I am counting on AMD probably going through a radical re-birth or just killing over in the next 5 years.
We will see how AMD looks after their restructure is over.
They arnt wrong. AMD is hurting really bad. any business is good for them right now. That being said, the margins for AMD probably do suck for console chips...but thats AMDs problem/business.
actually the price point for console chips is so low AMD wont be raking in much.
if they want to make a naval game, do it. I loved Sid Mieyers pirates!... this just doesn't seem like AC to me.
you dont think so? using an existing engine with a time period pretty close to that of AC3 could mean re-used resources along with some new ones... they have many of the mechanics done from AC3 and need some tweaking. this is exactly the kind of game I can imagine them pumping out quickly.
ew... naval was alright. at this point I kinda feel like AC franchise is cashing in because people liked the naval....
I dont think so. whats always pushed games and consoles is software.
its a fledgling in the market and its having growing pains as it transitions from a phone only sort of OS, to an OS on many different kinds of devices.
Android has a few big problems ahead of itself, phones and consoles are very different, with different markets, and differing input devices. So while the OS is the same, and makes it open to lots of developers, I dont really see how some of my android device games would translate to a controller, or how games built for a contr...
