I managed to get a ps5 it was sheer luck lol but I’m in the same boat as you I’m going to wait a bit longer before considering a series x for sure. There recent comments on Bethesda titles being Game pass exclusives are what’s got me. I just can’t miss out on elder scrolls or fallout lol but there prob years away
Yeah I totally agree I would have been much happier if they cut that stuff out . Like you said it really messes up the pacing. They did a great job overall though a lot better than I expected esp after ff15 what a shell of a final fantasy game that was lol

Yeah I do think it could be a bit of both slow hd and the way it was optimized, could also be a ram issue . It would make the game so much more enjoyable if we had no loading etc
Yeah could just be for back combat just now. Fingers crossed we get a proper patch that takes advantage of ps5 scrubbing all loading 60fps higher resolution that would be more than enough reason for another play through 😁
Wish they would remove the long boring needless gameplay In chapter 14 lol the game was absolutely incredible other than that part it went on way too long and wasn’t fun. What a game though I absolutely loved it it blew me away. Definitely square back on top form. If part 2 is way more open than this one that would be perfect. I just hope they don’t make too many parts and milk it. 3 parts max hopefully fingers crossed 🤞
Yeah it seems the reports suggesting it was too hot are totally false. It’s a very well designed console and has a higher end gpu aswell it makes complete sense why Microsoft went with the tower design. Just need to see a next gen game taking advantage of it that’s when we will see how hot it will get. I really can’t see them having any issues though

I really can’t wait for this, Iv tempered my expectations a little though as it’s the most hyped game in history. I can’t think of a better game to play day one on my shiny new ps5. Wish it was taking full advantage though but it seems the first patch will boost the resolution and frame rate with full patch later. I’m happy with that , it’s very rare we get such a great game as a launch title.
Couldn’t agree more there’s been multiple times now including the latest dirt video where I’ve questioned there loyalty of which they should have non they should be subjective . To be fair most got final dev kits very late on for XSX but it doesn’t look great esp all the hype that was coming from Codemasters and Microsoft about having all this power on tap. The Xbox series x is around the 13 sec on average sometimes less during quick resume. It can take slightly longer on cold boot. There is tones of comparisons on YouTube separately for each console The ps5 is almost instant when you are jumping from game to game.
