Yeah that’s what I did with Xbox one x and PS4 pro. I used X for cross platform and pro for exclusives. Think I’ll do the same this gen. I managed to get a ps5 pre order but no luck with Xbox yet. I’m not a fanboy of ether I just go for the best games. The fact of the matter is though the series X does have a more powerful GPU and more memory bandwidth,it will be better at ray tracing also no getting around that. Everyone is praising the new controller. Digital foundry said it’s the most revolutionary controller in a long long time. I truly thought it was just another Sony gimmick but now it seems it does exactly what is advertised. Man I’m glad I’m waiting to play this on ps5 . I was hoping to get it day one on 19th with ps5. I’m just going to hold out now for the full patch on next gen.

Man I managed to get a ps5 but I’m having zero luck with the series x. Microsoft Apparently only made a third of what Sony made . Sony made 10 million so that explains why series x is harder to get. I must say the design of the series x is really growing on me. This gen will be amazing for us as gamers as both are extremely capable consoles 😁
Wow 😳its not some new invention lol There hardly copying them. This back compat technology has been in the works for a while. It just so happens microsoft announced it first. It’s not some miracle thing microsoft invented. When tech is patented it has to be a valid change from anything else currently. Like the duel sense controller , or Sony’s IO throughput design around the ssd . Or Xbox velocity architecture. Auto HDR isn’t in that category atall
Seriously I use mine on my tv but there is a lot of people that will want to use it on a monitor esp for multiplayer . 1440 p should be an option that’s basic compatibility Sony . I didn’t realize ps4 pro didn’t support it ether. Here’s hoping it supports instant gamer response too as Xbox one x did but pro didn’t have that ether .
No necessarily if was designed for them from day one so I highly doubt it will play like trash. The next gen consoles and PC will be the optimal place though for sure. I was so looking forward to this on day one on my ps5 . Gutted lol only 3 weeks though

It’s really scary almost every single outlet out there has clearly stated the ps5 ssd design is years ahead of anything on the market . It’s also been stated and shown games are almost instant without full optimization . Yet most people on here seem to have missed that lol or choose to ignore it lol
No it’s not in real world performance go and watch them on YouTube bud there is loads to watch. It’s still taking 15 seconds depending on the game. Ps5 is 2-4 seconds without the games being optimised to take full advantage of the new io through put design Sony has implemented. Which means games will be instant when tweaked .
It is iv watched tones of demonstrations on YouTube .
Thank you , I’m glad someone pointed that out. Mark Cerny latest interview he said they could be hitting 9g/s Possibly higher when they optimize better. Every gaming outlet out there has pointed out it could potentially take years for PCs to catch-up to the speed of Sony’s new system. The series x is no faster than any standard ssd you can get on pc
