Hahaha only if you're willing to pay a few million dollars for it!
Not saying it's not a good game (I found it pretty good honestly), but it just doesn't sell that well for some reason.
Not sure how much I'll care. I still own both Oblivion and GTA, yet I haven't been bothered to beat either yet. Seems to me, personally, if the game isn't MGS, then it will be pushed aside a month or so later for a better game anyways.
Still, it can't be the "right thing to do," when clearly it's just because money changed hands.
Yeah I agree with that, but at some point someone always goes on the attack lol.
I just don't like Microsoft period, and the Wii just doesn't have the games I want.
There are already enough companies all over the world in different businesses that want to profit off of me, and I intend to keep as many of them as possible out of my pockets. As long as I can game online for free, you can bet your ass that I will.
Stupid? I don't know. At the end of the year I will have saved $50 more than I would have had with Xbox.
And in response: Industry laughs
I agree completely. Onling gaming has always been free, except for MMOs (which require funding validly) and Microsoft.
Don't think for a second that Microsoft needs that $50 a year from you; they don't. But they know you'll pay it anyways like a sucker. I can afford $50 a year but the principle of paying to play online is wrong.
I will stick with free PSN.
Well whether or not it's right or wrong, here's the way I see it: art is once again going to become what it needs to be.
You know how there are musicians on the street that play for money and only get paid based on the goodwill of the people that walk by. Well, that's how it should be. If you like it, you can show the artist some goodwill with your money. You can choose to listen entirely and not pay, and be somewhat of a jackass for doing so, but you're not forced to either...
Interested in seeing how this game is after the poor showing last year. 60fps is a major reason I'll consider getting back into Madden. I can't believe I actually made it the whole year without 08 lol.
Though it is easier to make the graphics better for the more powerful system.
Well he's right. Harddrive space isn't that important for most gamers, so even 20 gigs is good for some. 80 is just a bonus.
Oh no, an installation!
"Time to overreact wildly and attack the PS3, and to show I'm not a fanboy time to attack the 360 for doing the same thing as well, even though when it happens I'll enjoy the fact that is causes less loading time!"
Think about your comment for a second. How simple were the refs and chain gang in '93? They were just sprites essentially.
Now though, they not only have to design and create the ref characters, they also have to give them AI to avoid the ball, players, etc. Simply put, they were waiting for a year in which they weren't developing for more important areas (ie. gameplay) to do this.
So developers should work harder to make a game for the Wii, using up valuable resources, when they could be making a much better game for the PS360? What's the point? Casual gamers don't care, only hardcore gamers do. Keep giving the Wii it's Shovelware because that's what it's audience wants.
If crap sells, a successful businessman will sell crap. It's just that simple.
Plus 10 bucks in shipping.
Sometimes you just want to play a game from the past, nothing wrong with that at all. And much easier to just have it on your PS3 than to have to dust off and hook up the old PS1, if you still even have it.
If convenience can be offered by Sony (for a price of course), why not offer it?
So what about Canada? I'm guessing we have it?
Why would it never be full? I guess no one would want to play a game that can have 256 people online at once by your logic.
So if the winner of E3 is between losing a game's exclusivity which I MIGHT rent, or an exclusive game developed for 256 players online at once... I think it's clear Sony wins.
Hmmm, I'll counter it by walking 5 minutes to Blockbuster.
Yeah that leveling system sucked. I can see what they were trying to accomplish in trying to make every level fun, but you never got rewarded for all that leveling. I stopped playing without finishing it because I preferred to just do my own thing and eventually got to a high enough level that I should have been able to demolish most of my opponents, but instead they were just more difficult than they were in earlier levels.
Simply became a "go invisible then run to goal...
