Dead Space was scary in the sense that they jumped out at u every 10 seconds goin a boogy woogy woo. Old silent hills would scary u then leave u alone for 30 min while you freak yourself out cuz ur wondering when the game will strike then freak you out 8x more! Dead Space can excite and startle me but it cannot scare me.

lots of dlc =/= good
well thought out and well made dlc will last a life time and none of the starter CoD maps impressed me in the slightest.
One thing i gotta say is that finally IW is fixing problems for once. Maybe its the fact that a lot of the community feels left out after them not fixing problems with MW2 for months or pressure from competition and such.

I do believe your right. Those 3 perks may have been some of the best in the game but they played a role
ghost = you can sneak around
stopping power helped u win gun fights.
Juggernaut helped you survive/countered stopping power also countered the ridiculously low ttk in CoD games.
Theyll never learn. Either nerf Assassin/ghost or buff everything around it and asking people to stop using UAVs and such is kind stupid when u think about it. Its an easy killstreak that allows u to see everyone on the map but the most over powered perk counters this. So give people a reason to use other perks. Its sorta simple instead of telling people to change their gaming style.

sorry i never beat it. i skipped about 3/4ths of the enemies on the last 3-4 levels and got stuck cuz my people werent good enough :D so i never found out >.< and assumed it was them cuz they were the 2 "leadish" characters
edit: been a fan of previous final fantasies but this one just made me start hating it cuz of hears about releases of everyone 1-2 yrs.
and i guess i can deal with the amount of cinematics... its not too big of deal break...
Questions before i try it out.
1. Is it just as linear?
2. Is the "romance" between snow and lightning still like watching 2 bricks fall in love?
3. Is Vanille or whatever still in it? she was just there for eye candy and something for people to hate.
4. Is Hope still there cuz i wanted to hit him over the head with a shovel with all his whining and annoyingness.
5. Is it any less "cinematic-y"?
6. Is it less padded?...
O wow UC2 never set a bar for story telling unless that bar has been set so low due to lack of good story games most people had been play for YEARS. I played it and it wasnt even close to bar setting status.

In tank go slowly, have an engineer, the way your turret is facing is the way you exit your tank

SILENT HILL 2 was so scary it was like having a a 60 lb blanket ontop of u held down with large stones kind of atmosphere. IT WAS AMAZING. Better than anything ive played in the past few years easily. It rivals bioshock in terms of atmosphere maybe passing it at times.
