Rock Band kicks Guitar Hero's ass aswell. Maybe not in sales, but it's a much hgher quality game, just look at the reviews. Harmonix (the makers of GH1, GH2, and the rock band series) have the most highest rated games on metacritic, more than any other developer.

I don't own a 360 but I can play half the games on the xbox list. I'm pretty sure that means they're not exclusive.
Well it's impossible for PS3 to have the RBN because there's no system setup to handle user generated content.
MS have supported the RB franchise financially and with dev help and Sony have not, which explains the exclusivity.
Even though the PS3 update took longer to come out it was better than the xbox one.

The PS3 isnt shafted with RBN. It's just impossible for HMX to do it because Sony has no creators club system setup like Xbox does. How the hell would us users upload our creations to Sony? There's just no way it can be done.
We will be getting the best RBN releases on the PS3 though, so I guess thats something.

If ya dont want the game don't get it. They're developing RB3 while all this Green Day BS is going on, just wait for that, then enjoy it :D
I think everyone is totally misinterpretting what this means. If the xbox version is legitimately scoring higher it isn't because its superior to the PS3 version, its just because the Xbox reviews like it more than the PS3 ones (and so they should considering all the mediocre exclusives xbox has)
I've been playing it for a while now and have a list of the things that'll actually piss you off...
1) The character control is so clumsy, fast and unrealistic feeling to the point that its frustrating.
2) To make walking around worse the camera movement is complete crap
3) Vanille's voice acting (and i guess her whole character) is extremely annoying. When family/friends are around and she talks I feel embaressed to be playing such a lame game.

Yeah, that's what most people can't seem to realise. It's a freakin tutorial!! Of course its boring to watch, it's just going through mundane things teaching you the basics of it's crazy control scheme.
Sony has no system setup to make this available to us. The xbox has that XNLA creators club or whatever that allowed users to upload game content. There's no way for us PS3 users to upload files to the PSN.
Character models seem to default to a neutral position when they arent in scene, then when the camera pops back to them u can see a frame of them standing emotionless then suddenly theyre back into the position we last saw them in. Other things like eye/hand/mouth animations randomly changing a second before cuts also occur.
When the camera angle change covers a long distance there will be a stray frame between the 2 shots where you can see the cameras POV from its path from angl...

Thats just motion blur, and it looks terrible as a still frame.
Look at the small heads in the background, some of them are LESS blurry than those near the character (who is the main focus subject).
It just looks very artificial. There are shots with DoF though, like this one...

I disagree. I'm really disapointed with its lack of atmosphere. The lighting often seem off somehow and the lack of depth of field is really starting to bug me.
Like that shot with the guy driving the car with his son in the back seat. Look how everything in that car is in perfect focus, it's just wrong and your brain subconciously notices it.
Still, I'll be getting it first day :D
Then there's stuff like Trackmania for the PC. That might have a hardcore online community but overall its a pretty casual, accessible game.
