I've heard of people hating RB because they think its "just a game" and people should learn real instrument. But I dont think I've ever heard someone say its not a game.
But yeah, 7 months is crazy. Really, it'd be better to skip RB1 completely and just get a simultaneous world wide released on RB2.

Even if it was double that, I'd be totally happy, 3 hours of crazy cool cut scenes would rock! Especially when they're directed as well as they seem to be from the trailers etc.

Well Konami originally did DrumMania and Guitar Freaks YEARS ago. Technically Harmonix/Red Octane/Activision/Neversoft/EA /MTV/Whoever is copying them.

In australia a game costs me $120, I want it to have at least 30 hours of single player game play. Thats why games like GTA and FF will always be so better than all these new games that take 8 hours or less.
And people say "oh but it has muliplayer". Screw that, multiplayer sucks, 99% of ppl on the servers are jerks and its never any fun. Online gaming for the most part, sucks.
Have any articles included the fact that most ppl with a PS3 that really care about GTA IV probably imported it because a) its like $50 cheaper and b) its not censored.
Just on PS3 for sure. Fully utilize the HDD install and 50GB blu ray disc. It can be so much better if they just drop the ecksbawks.

Anyone else getting sick of M$'s comments saying people have chosen the xbox version as superior? Could it perhaps be because they rushed their console to release it a year earlier and thus have a higher install base?
People didn't choose to buy the xbox version because of the "exclusivity of the downloadable content combined with [their] excellent Xbox LIVE online experience"

I love how easy it is to do a 180 then continue reversing backwards. With a little practise I've managed to pull off some awesome looking drive-by's using that.
The sales are good on amazon because thats where casual gamers (like mums) buy their little games from. They don't know to shop around at gaming stores etc, they just know amazon.
