What? It's almost a dollar cheaper than the GH3 packs, PLUS u can by songs individually if u dont like all the songs in the pack.
And of course its gonna be more expensive that itunes, ppl at harmonix have to had either assemble the original recordings or spend time making a kick ass cover + making note charts for guitar, bass, drums and vocals on four different levels + do character animtion events, venue and lighting event, record crowd singing and whatever the hell else they...

Wouldnt be hard to import would it? I live in Australia where we wont be getting the game until sometime next year. I'm importing from US and should have it b4 the end of Novemeber.

I finally pre-ordered this. I'm an Aussie so it's costing me $250 to get it and ship it over here, but its gonna be so worth it.
GH3 blows, Neversoft ruined it. They have some cool song but the new modes suck, the characters suck, their animation sucks and most importantly the charts suck and the lack of new innovative career mode sucks.
However, it will sell more. But yeah, doesn't mean it's a better game.
I've got this pre-order and paid for. I'm a fan of the series so far but I'm really scared that Neversoft are gonna screw this up and I'm gonna end up wasting $170 AUD.
Rock Band on the other hand, will be the most awesome game of '07

Why not just get Rock Band and sing on that? It'll have a much better set list and a bunch of DLC as well. Not to mention the whole guitar/bass/drums gameplay too.

One of the first things I did when I got my PS3 was make up a US and Japanese account. I live in Australia so it comes in pretty handy. Takes so long to download anything from the US servers though.
Just get rock band. You can sing in that, plus play drums, guitar and bass.
And it has songs that are actually good. DLC is promosing with like 60+ tracks announced already. And theres almost 60 songs on the disc when u get it.
