That's the problem with Ubisoft. They talk like the only way to make a quality game is to push the AI further and make it smarter. How about fun gameplay, well-written stories, and a little replayability? Making good games is less about technology and more about the development crew creating the game.
I can't wait for this one! I hope they put something on the Vita as well. I played a ton of Disgaea on my PSP over the years. I'd love to see a special item world level exit on the D4 on the PS3 lead to a special level or event that takes place on the Vita.
I'll be fine as long as they include broadbrain connectivity. I'm so tired of having to actually use my hands to play a game!
At least with PSN accounts we won't have to start all over with trophy hunting.
Can we get an online multiplayer exercise game please? No need for a camera, but at least lets have some athletic competition on the PS3. Pushup contests, jump rope, dexterity, strength, and endurance games. Not this wack-a-mole BS movement type games like the Kinect.
I wonder how the reviewer would rate Disgaea 3 or 4. I don't mind reading subtitles. Tactics games aren't known for their stellar graphics, usually what gets people addicted is the fun gameplay and interesting stories. He should have also added 5 points because the ending of the game could not be any worse than the ending for FF tactics.
Maybe ask Blair Herder if Chobot is fake. They're dating btw.
Its hard to say anyone on G4 is fake when compared to Olivia "McHammer" Munn. She was so over the top fake, she makes Chriss Angel look sincere.
Not surprising news since he stated the game started as a financial decision. That would indicate that money-focused people have been involved since the beginning and it makes sense they would get more uptight the closer the game gets to release.
Yes, I will purchase.
They probably agreed to switch the perspective since the last 3 or 4 X-Com games were not good.
I think everyone is just remembering the FIRST X-Com game, which was awesome. All the sequels were pretty bad. This will just be another bad sequel, although from another perspective and hopefully not as frustrating.
IMO the terrible sequels ruined the "legacy" - in truth there was only ever ONE good X-Com game out of the 4 or 5 they've made s...
I wait.
Unless its a franchise that I really love like Street Fighter or Disgaea.
Games that have low replay values (regardless of how good the game is) always get rented, never purchased (See: Heavy Rain).
Could it be related to the golden poo craze? Asian retailers have been selling golden poop jewelry, t-shirts, everything for a while now.
In other news i've got 5 friends using the SF4 Akuma avatar, far more than any other icon - but that's because I meet most new friends by fighting them. :-)
For all those who are adamant about having other OS, why don't they build themselves a PC? Why all the rage? You can make your PC better than your PS3.
It's my Diablo-flavored crack until Torchlight 2 launches. :-)
Don't be ashamed, just make a better game.
It'll be great as long as there's some challenge. If its the standard "tab, 1, 2, 3, 4" style of combat that gets old really fast. Oh, and skip the kill 10 rats and fetch quests - make the quests meaningful.
Could they just re-skin EVE a bit and make it Firefly?
Excellent game! I have been playing this much more than I anticipated. Sure the game is a generic take on the genre, but it's #1 because they just did everything right.
Funny that all it takes to be #1 isn't a unique and absorbing story or top of the line graphics. Just make a solid game that is fun to play with no major bugs. It's just plain fun (and keeping the price low helps too).
My only requests would be shorter load times and to allow ...
He's a Scientologist now, so obviously his decision making ability has been impaired. Was this an interview or an "audit"?
He must have missed Borderlands.
Replace Cmdr. Shephard with Black Dynamite and you've got yourself a game!
News necromancy! Troll article trolls for hits for troll that didn't write it.
I never got into the series, but became interested with all the talk about the sequel coming out. In light of all the not-great reviews that WKC2 is getting, should I just rent WKC1 and be done with the series, or should I pick up 2 and play through both?
