No Taki is not playable. Natsu is taking her place in the lineup with a similar move set. Not sure yet if she is as much fun as Taki was though.
Mine dropped when the local arcade closed. Fighting online isn't bad, but it's not a proper substitute to playing local Vs on a fighting game.
Still going to get this though. I need a custom Voldo with a nice business suit.
They already announced DLC. There will be gem packs you can purchase as DLC.
As if DLC from Capcom could ever be a surprise. ;-)
Replace Batman with Medieval Maddness and you have yourself a damn fine list. Slide Pinbot in there somewhere and its a damn near perfect list.
I think the X-Men table is my favorite of the bunch. My favorite PS3 pinball game is still the Williams Collection. Medieval Madness is one of my favorite tables of all time and it plays very close to real life. Now if some "other" company would release a collection ::cough cough:: Bally:: cough cough:: I could play some Twilight Zone and Addams Family!
I believe that Marvel has the ability to license Ren & Stimpy, I'd LOVE to see them get their own tabl...
I was pretty surprised that #1 this game had a platinum on PSN, and #2 that you don't even have to finish the game to earn it. Far too easy, but rather pretty.
It would be nice if they added cross platform play, like they advertised heavily before console release. I'm glad they fixed the trophy sync problem on the PS3 after only a few short months.
It is an okay game solo, but really shines in multiplayer. Sales would have been improved if they added the cross platform play. I've owned it for so long now I feel like I'm "done" with it after waiting for a couple months and I still can't play with my Stea...
Brink and Rage were my biggest disappointments.
Duke Nukem was really bad as well, but not a disappointment - I expected it to be crap.
UC3 was kinda meh, I expected more from the hype.
My 2011 disappointments:
Rage
Brink
Homefront
KOF 13 netcode
I was serious about wanting to use a giant's club. I've killed giants that were using things like dwarven battleaxes and such. I thought if maybe they can use regular weapons, that the club may just be a specific (and rare) weapon not available in stores.
I like checking out little random things like that in Skyrim. Its how I get to 110 hours and only finish about half the story. :-)
I may rent a new follower to hunt a giant for their club and hav...
Can we take Giants' clubs and use them as weapons? I've wanted to try that for a while, but haven't run into a giant in a bit. Can you use smithing to upgrade the clubs? Lastly, if used by a player will they send the enemy a half mile in the air?
I'm 110 hours into the game with a 10mb save file on the PS3. I've only had 4 crashes that required a hard reset and no glitched quests that I can't complete. I had two instances of bad frame rate issues, but those went away after I turned off the autosave.
I've been lucky. Rage was unplayable on my PS3, but Skyrim seems to be fine.
The Adventures of Willy Beamish on Sega CD had a graphic design (string of spheres) you could play around with while you waited for the next scene to load. It was actually fun, and way ahead of its time.
Willy Beamish HD? It is probably just a matter of time. I bet Telltale games will buy that license.
I disagree with the author on one point. Clap-trap. He was one of my favorite parts of Borderlands and it wouldn't be the same without him.
I was really hoping they'd patch that trophy problem too. It is pretty frustrating. Have they even added the cross-platform play yet? They advertised that feature heavily before launch.
I'd like to see Odette Yustman as Lara Croft.
I think porn adopting the blu ray format was one of the reasons it won out over the HD-DVD format. Nice to see Sony allowing some porn on their console. Although, I didn't think anyone really paid for pron anymore. Just fire up pinklab and you've got more porn than your eyeballs can process.
Did EA change the ToS for Origin to eliminate their right to record every piece of software you use on your PC? I'm just not comfortable with that being in the ToS, so I just use Steam or consoles for games.
I found "lion mode" to be really dull. The controls were a little laggy, the graphics were subpar, and the actual game play was mind numbingly repetitive. The most enjoyment I had with this game was watching the animation clips from the original show. Hoard was much more enjoyable than Voltron, even though I'm a huge Voltron fan. Behavior Interactive just can't be relied upon to develop a fun game.
I got tired with the game after 20 minutes and just wanted...
I would say it was alright. Slightly better than average, but far too easy. Visually it was rather pretty, and the puzzles were entertaining. But again it was FAR too easy. This doesn't change my enjoyment of it, but you can actually get all achievements or trophies without even finishing the game.
If I used a school grading system i'd say a C (70 - average). If it was a full, honest 1-10 rating... maybe a 5.5 or 6. There was a lot of style but very little subst...
