The truth of the matter is we're getting these midgen refreshes for 3 reasons. 1, both conpanies delivered underpowered systems day one this gen, something that typically doesn't happen, and they delivered them later than anticipated. This forced developers into making their own target development kits for the new platforms and they overestimated the power forcing them to scale back after the systems were revealed. As a result, the systems were near maxed out in their first 18 months,...
More of a spiritual successor from the creator of that legendary rpg franchise. Cant really call it a rip off. Thats like saying Interstellar is a rip off of earlier Christopher Nolan films because it has similar filming technique and characters.
They did it to hurt the sales so they can sell the ip or exclusive rights to microsoft for the future of the franchise
Right, but the dock plugs in which would mean the battery isnt being used to power the system. So by plugging the system in you could lift the restriction that is limiting the tflops when the system is mobile
So the chipset should be capable of 1.5tflops, but due to battery limitation they'll downclock to achieve 1tflop which will be capable of xb1 caliber games at 720p resolution. So in theory, they could remove the downclocking when its docked to achieve the 1080p most people are worried about today. Correct?
The $100 version of the game comes with MW remastered and the Season Pass which makes the pass really only like $20
A Viva Pinata mobile ftp game with a paid console counterpart would be pretty sick. Build and manage gardens on your phone in that Fanily Guy/Simpsons Tapped Out visual style, then boot up your xb1/windows 10 version and continue playing with visuals made possible by the better hardware. I'd buy that, just don't make the mobile game exclusive to Windows Phones please.
Will gladly spend $30-40 on a map pack that includes all the old maps. And the new one sounds dope if its real.
Enticed back to willamette..... so is it a reboot or a sequel where he goes back there?
Part of me agrees that they shouldn't reveal until next year, but i could see the pending 2016 release of ps4 neo forcing their hand much like Microsoft forced sony and nintendo to reveal the ps3 and wii 18 months ahead of release by releasing the 360 a year ahead.
Rebought the game the second i saw this. Now i just wait to see it in my ready to install list.
But it's referring to the 2016/2017 fiscal year, which started April 1st 2016. So they're projecting the neo to release between 4/16 and 10/16
Maybe a slim xb1 with some sort of expansion pack upgrade system built in. Like the system is still same power as a stock xb1 but you could potentially buy an upgrade kit in the future to increase the power a significant amount
The timeline shows feb with the letters mp (mass production?)
Day one purchase for me already, but a new God of War wouldn't hurt. Also, convince Activision to patch Black ops so split screen zombies doesnt look like a first wave xbox 360 game, that'd be nice.
I'll take 4 + 5, 6 is a no no tho.
I really don't understand how cross platform save files and the inclusion of the pc version with the purchase of the digital xbox one version isn't being talked about more.
All three xboxes were launched in the year they were revealed.
Got enough in rewards last month to preorder this. Thrilled that it looks like I'll be getting a gem for free.
The author isn't saying $299 is a lot of money, their saying they don't feel the switch offers $299 in value. In that regard it is most definitely too expensive depending on your own preferences
