Cannot wait for this game. Avid ufc fan, huge game fan, bought every mainstream mma game from the 360 generation. This game looks amazing, and everything I've seen gives me the same feeling I used to get when fight night round 3 was being shown. Like this is the game that's really gonna show off next gen visuals. Let's hope the gameplay matches.

From what I've seen it's transition based, and you have to slowly work through the different positions to lock a submission in. Some fighters with higher sub stats will be able to transition more quickly. But it does end in a mini game... Not thrilled, but I'll reserve judgement until I try it myself.

That January was also a full year into the generation, yes ps3 and wii were new but the generation started with 360. Games were coming out with some consistency across the board, and the handhelds were yet to be hurt by the now during smartphone/tablet market.

Link to the past is my all time favorite video game. Maybe Nintendo should just remake that story with Wii U graphics.
Nintendo doesn't matter to me until they show Zelda Wii U. Meteor, star Fox, and a legit Mario would be nice as well, but to me Zelda is the reason for grown ups to have a Nintendo.
Also bought the pc version. Game is great and the level of fan service is incredible. Would love to see some legit add on content.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I didn't preorder the game because I'm buying it digitally. I do however assume I'm not alone in that.
I'm all for serious topics like rape, torture, and death in video games, if it legitimately moves the story in a meaningful way. If it's used for pure shock value then it's not only unneeded, but destructive to the art we've seen grow along with us. Heavy rain contained a guaranteed child death, kidnapping, nudity, sex, and a drug using cop. Not to mention several tense and potentially fatal scenes for your main characters, and the potential for a second child death at the end...
