The Wii in large sense doesn't have same games as the PS3/360 - even the multiplats are vastly different on Wii, not just in graphics but in fundamental playabaility and control (or often, lack thereof). It's in its own league that it more or less invented.
Of course I was making a generalization that was an exaggeration when taken to absolute extreme, but there's a lot to it. Every Wii owner I know has bought theirs only to not use it much, maybe Wiifit for their lady counterpar...

Does the Wii exist in the 360 fanboy's console sales bubble? The answer is a resounding NO.
The fact is the Wii doesn't detract sales from the 360/PS3 game. The Wii's users are a primarily new market, or those who will also own a HD console as well (such as myself, with a PS3, Wii, and a 360 at work).
The most amusing thing about that tired old ground lost argument you're repeating from a thousand others before you, is that the only ground lost was during the head start. Literally.
That's not an opinion, or an excuse. That's just the plain old numbers talking.
It doesn't mean Sony couldn't and shouldn't have done way better. The PS3 has definitely been on a rocky path, but seriously. Find a better argument.
