Ugh winds me up... and I’m triggered. Ps exclusives have been incredible and the bar for quality is so far and above beyond Xbox and PC. Because they have been created by artists and innovative devs with passion. That’s most important. Passion.

Yes exactly. It won’t happen quickly but think of all the younguns growing up now with subscription services. If they become more dominant then people will begin to ask why the hell anyone ever paid £50 for one game when you can get 100s for less. They won’t think about the implications. Personally think this is all doom and gloom as if this were to happen it would take decades.... but it is worth talking about I think. It’s interesting how like sheep people can be.
Well Netflix Hulu and amazon prime are filled with utter toss, terrible content with one or two gems max. So it kind of already is to a lesser extent. Gamepass is filled with nothing but old games and shovelware. Even the AAA exclusives are not up to scratch... there’s no quality there at all. So happy I have not yet been forced to join one of these terrible subscription services. Although I’m sure the day is coming when I am forced to. I hope at least by then the gaming community has done wh...

Tbf that’s true, usually after first two years is when the real gems of the gen start to appear. Luckily I am still thoroughly enjoying the twilight years of the current gen. All the best games are coming out and there are still so many more to come. Part of me is very excited for next gen for various reasons, the other part says Fuck next gen for now, I can wait a few years! I’ll keep enjoying what we have here and now which is top quality exclusives, at least from Sony and Nintendo’s side, ...

It’s MS that are struggling to survive the gaming market, Sony need to slow down if anything, they are absolutely killing it and no amount of doom and gloom stories or stories of how the gaming industry is about to completely change will change that 🙄 they are always entertaining to read though, they have been for the last 10-15 years 😂
Agreed, I’d love to own both just like in the 360 days, so many great games on both consoles at the time. But Microsoft yet again have given no indication whatsoever that they have anything more than average shovelware which suits gamepass perfectly.

Agreed, it’s whether the management can both design a great game and lead a team. Not every dev is as talented as Hideo Kojima who does pretty much everything.... in fact no one is, he’s one of a kind by a long shot!
