I'm not even sure if games are being programed to take advantage of all the cores on these CPU's whether it be consoles or PC's.
It doesn't have dedicated raytracing hardware. You can do anything in software mode it just means it won't perform as well like it would with dedicated hardware.
I gather you can get around this by doing less complicated ray tracing, less bouncing rays
I think if Microsoft bought them it would end up on all platforms. I'm pretty sure they would treat it the same as Minecraft.
I don't see Microsoft or Sony buying them. I think it's just too close to being Pokemon. I'm surprised Nintendo hasn't sent their lawyers to destroy them yet.
Looks really good but how come they left the top part black?
Predictions-
. The console screen will be 1080p and will use LCD and not OLED.
. Controllers will be even smaller than switches controller
. Console bundled with basic but addictive mini games
. The new console will be cpu limited but the gpu will be quite capable
Nintendo and Microsoft make The Series S Switch also known as SSS. In this case the name switch is given because they swapped teams. This is a joke but I'm sure people will hate it 😆
Microsoft has definitely lost to both Sony and Nintendo in the console Hardware buisness. Now in terms of software they already have surpassed both Sony and Nintendo as the largest games publisher.
Higher resolution and frames per second. If your lucky you might get extra effects. I'd personally rather use that money for a switch 2 or when the next generation comes out
I think Nintendo should shift to a 10 year life cycle. People don't buy Nintendo products for high end graphics anymore. Just keep making games Nintendo and bring a new switch out in 2027 or something like that 🤣
Xbox is selling a decent amount of consoles there would be no reason for them to stop doing so. Look at Nintendo they released the gamecube which only sold 21.74 million units then the wii u which sold 13.56 million in units. Did Nintendo go third party after everyone screamed and cried about them doing so?
Microsoft has been third party since Minecraft. Microsoft can pick and choose what platforms they want to release for each individual game unless they have a contractor's agreement saying otherwise.
I don't remember Blizzard being much of company to be bringing out new ips all the time.
. Starcraft
. Diablo
. Warcraft
. World of war craft
. Overwatch
Why would you want to buy a single player first party Microsoft game that you can finish in less then a month? You just purchase gamepass for a month finish that game and play a ton of others for less then a quarter of the price of the game.
Not sure what the down vote is all about just look at the all female lead cast of the Ghostbusters movie for example. I think that lost about $70 million.
Whilst there are woman that watch or play these things it ain't enough to support it.
Most men don't want to play or watch Female lead characters. Just like most men don't want to watch WNBA.
I played Horizon for a bit and when your actually doing stuff it can be fun but there seems to be a lot of dialogue which annoys me. So I'm giving it a break till a can be bothered putting up with the constant talking. It probably wouldn't be as bad if the dialogue was interesting but unfortunately it is pointless chatter.
I think Death stranding was really well done and if it looks interesting to you then maybe give it a go. Atomic Heart is another game I would hig...
Yeah but this time they have spent over 69 billion dollars on studios
I really like the idea of a marvels venom game if done right
I couldn't find any numbers for infinite but I did find -
Halo 4" sold $220 million worth of games in the first 24 hours. At $60 a pop, that's 3.7 million copies in just one day. That beats the record "Halo 3" set in 2007 of $170 million in first-day sales.
Microsoft said the first week of sales are on track to top $300 million, which is exactly what "Halo 3" did five years ago.
I don't know if it's true but some pod casts are saying they are adding 4k support.
